Sydney to get a brand new ’30-minute city’ with car-free streets: Here’s what it will look like

‘Australia’s newest city’ has set high expectations promising to be greener and more sustainable while promoting car-free streets and quick access to facilities. 

Bradfield City is being built next to Western Sydney Airport at Badgerys Creek with the first buildings to be ready by the time the airport opens in 2026.

Planning documents state the entire aerotropolis will sit on more than 11,000 hectares and that it will be centred around pedestrian-only thoroughfares. 

Bradfield City will be a 30-minute city meaning residents will be able to jump on public transport and access all CBD amenities from their home within half-an-hour.

The city will be built as the state government looks to fulfill its ambitious three-cities strategy, with Parramatta and Sydney CBD the other two major hubs.

The plan is aimed at decentralising work, shopping and leisure activities into regional areas and reduce car use and travel times for residents.  

The NSW government released its master plan hoping to receive community feedback on the design.

I thought there was something uniquely sick in Germany’s culture for that country to fall for the Nazis. Now I see our Greens and feel shame. Here’s a party inciting Jew haters and winning votes. The pattern of their appeals to Jew haters is unmistakeable.

Let me give examples, before I get to Laura Allam: • In October, the federal Greens – alone in Parliament – voted against a motion that supported Israel’s right to defend itself and condemned the Hamas terrorist group for slaughtering 1200 Jews on October 7. • On Wednesday, the Greens demanded the Senate condemn Israel’s “invasion” of Gaza – in a motion that again didn’t condemn Hamas or demand it free its Jewish hostages. • In NSW, Greens MP Jenny Leong warned the Jews had their “tentacles” everywhere: “The Jewish lobby and the Zionist lobby are infiltrating into every single aspect of what is ethnic community groups” and “their tentacles reach into the areas that try and influence power”. •

Greens leader Adam Bandt tweeted support for a “free Palestine” protest with a map of Israel and Palestinian territories all in one colour – so no separate state of Israel, just what Hamas wants. (A mistake, he says.) When you fish in the sewer of anti-Semitism, it’s no wonder three Greens senators were listed as guest speakers at the Palestine to parliament protest in Canberra, alongside Laura Allam, founder of the Al-Jannah Foundation. So there was Greens Senator Mehreen Faruqi on stage chanting “free free Palestine”, just after Allam had had her say.

But to best understand what rancid company the Greens now keep, read Allam’s tweets. She’s tweeted pictures of four Israeli solders killed in Gaza, adding: “Good riddance.” She’s tweeted several media statements of Hamas, and called for an end to Israel: “Who’s (sic) stupid idea was it to put Israhell (sic) in the Middle East? You don’t belong there, GET OUT!” She’s tweeted “there is NO evidence Hamas raped Israelis”, despite the testimony of eyewitnesses and forensic experts, and insisted: “Hamas should be welcomed in every single Arab nation as they take on the Middle Eastern enemy.” Most shockingly, the morning after Hamas massacred 1200 Jews, raped many women and took more than 250 hostages, Allam gloated: “Woke up to some great news for our beloved Palestine.”

That’s one of the people now sharing a stage with the Greens. What a disgrace to this country.

The 16-year-old teenager who has been charged with the stabbing murder of a 70-year-old Queensland grandmother in front of her 6-year-old granddaughter was reportedly out on bail for multiple armed robberies. Police had, at the time, recommended against bail due to the nature of the offenses.

There is also criticism of the current court proceedings after a judge limited media access to the proceedings to protect the underage accused from being prejudiced by media reporting. The judge overseeing the media application for greater access to the trial noted that by releasing CCTV footage early, the boy’s identification could become known publicly, putting him and the community at risk.

All along, Dawn Queva managed to hide her antisemitism and racism against whites under the rubric of woke rage about white supremacism. Woke antisemites who managed to perpetuate their hate in businesses, government and campuses alike, under the cover of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, are now being penalized in the wake of the upheaval created by their overt hostility after the October 7 jihad massacre. Israel’s war to defend its nation from more such attacks, and ultimately from annihilation, is leading them to expose themselves. Their brazenness demonstrates the level of their emboldenment over the years. Particularly troubling is the fact that without widespread condemnation, such antisemites would perpetuate and ramp up their hatred and incitement to violence. The case of Queva is reminiscent of another recent case in British Columbia, where a professor who called October 7  “amazing, brilliant” was abruptly fired by Langara College, only days after it stood by her and reinstated her.

A BBC scheduler who referred to Jews as “Nazis” and white people as “parasites” no longer works at the corporation, The Telegraph can reveal.

Last week, it emerged that Dawn Queva – who, according to her online profile, is a scheduling co-ordinator at BBC Three – had made Facebook posts that included calling Jewish people “Nazi apartheid parasites” who funded a “holohoax”.

Her posts also repeatedly attacked white people, calling them a “virus” and “mutant invader species”.

The BBC was informed of the statements made online, which drew widespread condemnation and calls for the organisation to take disciplinary action against her.

However, The Telegraph understands that Ms Queva is no longer at the corporation, and a BBC spokesman confirmed: “The individual concerned is no longer employed by the BBC.”

Ms Queva previously worked with Disney and UKTV, according to her Linkedin profile.

Her social media posts were made under the name of Dawn Las Quevas-Allen on Facebook, but the profile has the same profile picture as her regular profile, and Deadline, a trade magazine, reported that her identity had been confirmed…..

The Italian newspaper Il Giornale reports that the girl and her boyfriend were attacked in the Sicilian city of Catania by the migrant gang who then dragged the girl into a public bathroom and brutally assaulted her in front of the helpless boyfriend, who they also beat up.

The pair somehow managed to escape, but not before two of the migrants had raped the girl, according to the report.

Six of the migrants, three of whom are minors, were arrested the same evening, with the seventh detained the following day after appearing to attempt to flee the town.

Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni addressed the victim, stating “I want to say this to express my solidarity with her and her family. The State will be there and justice will be done.”

Salvini was more direct, stating “Don’t come and talk to me about tolerance. In the face of horrors like this, there can be no clemency but only one cure: chemical castration.
