Funding from a group founded by George Soros has supported the slavery reparations campaign against Britain, The Telegraph can reveal.

The Open Society Foundations (OSF), established by Hungarian investor Mr Soros and now led by his son, Alex Soros, has donated vast sums from its $23bn (£17.2bn) endowment to progressive causes.

The foundation has provided hundreds of thousands of dollars to groups seeking to claim reparations from Britain for slavery and colonialism.

The OSF helped to found a joint Caribbean and African campaign, and supported organisations that are now considering international litigation that could heap pressure on the British Government…

Boko Haram terrorists are still in control of Ngoshe town in Gwoza Local Government Area of Borno State, five days after a deadly attack that left soldiers and civilians dead, local and security sources have said.

The terrorists abducted more than 100 women and children during the attack on the community. They also killed some soldiers, the chief imam of the town and several community elders during the assault, which occurred shortly after Muslims broke their fast on Wednesday.

Pop legend Stevie Wonder told withe people to “overcome” their “hate” and “white supremacy” during his time at the mic during Reverend Jessie Jackson’s public funeral on Friday.

“It was personal and political. We were able to love each other and support each other through the good and the bad. I knew his heart, I respected his mind, and trusted his soul. I wish we could say everyone did,” he said of Jackson, who died in February at 84, according to CBS News

The “Isn’t She Lovely” singer appeared during Jackson’s “homecoming” event and told the crowd that “Rev. Jackson and I had a long and strong history”.

Wonder also performed the song “As,” along with “They Won’t Go When I Go,” which he said “speaks the truth in my heart.”

But Wonder also delivered an attack against white people.

“It is you, and you know who you are,” he lectured. “You need to overcome hate. You need to overcome the mindset of white supremacy…You shall overcome the need to dominate every single country and its people.”

Soldiers killed in jihadist attack in Burkina Faso

Abidjan – An attack claimed by Al-Qaeda-linked jihadists killed at least a dozen soldiers in northern Burkina Faso at the weekend, security and local sources told AFP on Tuesday. The junta-ruled west African country has been plagued by violence from militants allied to Al-Qaeda or the Islamic State group for more than a decade.

Across parts of sub-Saharan Africa today, jihadist movements are conducting campaigns of violence that they themselves describe in religious terms.
They invoke Islamic fundamentalism.
They openly frame Christian communities as religious adversaries.
This is not random criminality. It is ideological warfare.
Burkina Faso is currently experiencing an ongoing jihadist insurgency that began in 2015, primarily involving groups linked to Al-Qaeda and the Islamic State. This conflict has resulted in significant violence, with over 20,000 deaths and millions displaced, as jihadist groups like Jama’at Nusrat al-Islam wal-Muslimin (JNIM) have gained control over large areas of the country. In 1885, General Charles Gordon stood in Khartoum facing an army led by a man who claimed divine authority. The Mahdi did not present himself as a political reformer. He proclaimed a religious mandate. His followers believed they were waging holy war. When Khartoum fell, thousands were slaughtered.
