This is what America First actually looks like when it is allowed to work, abundance instead of managed decline, sovereignty instead of dependence, and a future that belongs to the people who still believe in building rather than rationing.

The key to the downfall of the Islamic Republic is when it can no longer afford to pay its repressive forces and mercenaries.

That is why the collapse in oil exports matters so much. The IRGC had grown to control as much as half of Iran’s oil trade, tying the regime’s most important source of revenue directly to the machinery that protects it. Iranian oil loadings have reportedly plunged from roughly 1.7–2.2 million barrels per day before the war to around 250,000 in August.

The Islamic Republic can survive an impoverished population if it can still finance repression. But when it can no longer pay the forces it depends on to crush dissent, the foundations of the regime begin to crack.

What does this mean? It means almost everyone in Iran is banned from moving out the country for work or studies unless they are regime-linked.

This locks down the entire younger generation from ever emigrating. It also means millions of Iranians abroad will be arrested if they dare travel back, even if they have no activist or political history, because they probably work or study in “unapproved” institutions.

Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian acknowledged Friday that the U.S. blockade has slashed Iran’s trade and left critical imports — including gasoline — unable to enter the country, as the Trump administration intensifies an economic offensive aimed at isolating a regime already confronting mounting hardship and the threat of renewed unrest.

Pezeshkian said Iranian imports and exports have fallen between 25 and 35 percent under U.S. sanctions and the blockade, with his government now considering doubling the price of gasoline purchased beyond subsidized quotas as supplies tighten.

“The route is now blocked, and goods are not coming in,” he conceded during a televised interview Friday night. “One of those goods is gasoline.”

A president reduced to selling efficiency at home is a president without much else to offer, which is the clearest confirmation yet that the pressure could actually be landing. What it has not produced is a change in Iran’s terms.

Illinois Islamist Lebanese cleric and Muslim Brotherhood member Sheikh Kifah Mustapha has called for Muslims to take positions throughout major American institutions, including law enforcement, federal agencies, the Pentagon, White House and U.S. Senate.

Speaking during Friday prayers, Mustapha said:

“We want Muslims in the police, as federal agents, in the fire department, in the Pentagon, in the White House. We want Muslims in the Senate…you name it. Because we believe that if we can produce leaders that still can hold on to some of these values, we can change the world, inshallah.”

Mustapha is the Imam and Director of the Prayer Center of Orland Park and chairman of the Illinois Council of Imams and Scholars. He has also served at several other Chicago-area mosques and received a CAIR-Chicago Mobilizer Award.

Mustapha was named as an unindicted co-conspirator in the federal Holy Land Foundation terrorism-financing case and was identified in court documents as a member of the Muslim Brotherhood’s Palestine Committee.

The Muslim Brotherhood is considered the largest and best-organized Islamist group in the world, and is backed by Qatar and Turkey.

The Holy Land Foundation case ultimately resulted in five officials being convicted of providing millions of dollars to Hamas.
