Too lax? Not.

One of Australia’s top police officers has warned about the Muslim community, saying they have not done enough to discourage young Muslim men from joining the Syrian jihad. I wouldn’t call it lax. I would call it supportive.  (Pamela Geller)

No,  they are not “too lax”, and being “too supportive” would be an understatement. They are complicit, all of them. That’s what the religion requires. Those who don’t participate in the jihad by all and any means will be punished, in this life and the next.

And the same can be said of Muslims in the US and Europe, et al. And it’s not just their silence about young Muslims leaving home to wage jihad in Syria. Why aren’t they protesting against the devout Muslim group that kidnapped hundreds of Nigerian Christian girls? Or the death penalties for blasphemy and apostasy under the sharia in Pakistan, Iran, Sudan, etc. Why aren’t Muslims taking to the streets against honor killings?

Why, instead, are they trying to restrict our speech? Why are they more concerned with forcing our schoolchildren to eat halal in school cafeterias?

Quran (4:76) - “Those who believe fight in the cause of Allah…”

Quran (4:95) - “Not equal are those believers who sit (at home) and receive no hurt, and those who strive and fight in the cause of Allah with their goods and their persons. Allah hath granted a grade higher to those who strive and fight with their goods and persons than to those who sit (at home). Wednesday’s attack marked a rare attack on a house of worship, as Catholic churches have served as sanctuaries for both Christian and Muslim civilians since the country erupted into sectarian bloodshed in December.

BANGUI, Central African Republic (AP) — Muslim rebels stormed a Catholic church compound in the capital of Central African Republic on Wednesday, launching grenades and spraying civilians with gunfire, witnesses said. At least five bodies were brought to area hospitals, though some witnesses said the death toll could be as high as 30.

The attack on the compound at the church, where thousands of civilians had sought refuge from the violence ravaging Bangui’s streets, is the largest and most brazen blamed on Muslim fighters since their Seleka coalition was ousted from power nearly five months ago.

A SECOND mosque will be built in Cairns after the council gave the nod for a new worship centre in Bungalow.

Cairns regional councillors yesterday voted unanimously to allow a 180sq m shed in the city’s industrial precinct to be turned into a mosque.

The proposed Indonesian Community Centre and accompanying caretaker’s residence will use an existing house and industrial shed on the Newell St property.

The centre is backed by the Association of Islamic Da’wah in Australia, which also has mosques in Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide and Brisbane.

• MOSQUE IS ‘IDEAL NEIGHBOUR’

Cr John Schilling, whose southern division includes a Sikh temple on the Bruce Highway, was concerned about potential parking issues if the mosque congregation grew.
