The first three people ever charged with female genital mutilation in NSW were committed to stand trial at a Sydney court on Friday.

A mother, a retired nurse and a sheikh have been accused of circumcising two girls, aged six and seven, at a Sydney home in 2012.

Sex crimes police allege the procedure was done for cultural reasons.

UKIP candidate blames ‘Muslim man’ for stabbing him in the face leaving him with a broken cheekbone and eye socket

A UKIP council candidate claims he was stabbed in the face by a Muslim who lives nearby and whose children regularly attack his own offspring and call his family infidels.

Bobby Anwar, 33, of Accrington, Lancashire, said in a post on social networking site Facebook that he was attacked by a man whose family are ‘avid Labour supporters’.

He said the male had used a ‘sharp metal weapon’ in the attack on Saturday which fractured his cheekbone and eye socket and claims he will need extensive surgery.

Hope that it will be published, far and wide, the Undying Declaration of Djokhar Tsarnaev, scrawled as he hid in that beached boat, his message in a bottle conveying a perfectly understandable (to Muslims) understanding: we Muslims “are one body” against all non-Muslims. That non-Muslims still find it difficult to take this in, and prefer still to distinguish among Muslims, and still  do not feel the need to express, and to feel, solidarity with all other non-Muslims threatened by the forces of Islam, maddens.

Dzokhar Tsarnaev, charged with the terror attack on the Boston Marathon last year, wrote in a note as he hid from police in a boat that he was jealous of his dead brother for going to the “garden of paradise.”

Prosecutors revealed excerpts of the note and other details of the attack in documents filed Wednesday in the U.S. District Court in Boston.

Tsarnaev, writing in pencil, asked Allah to make him a martyr.

“God has a plan for each person,” he wrote. “Mine was to hide in this boat and shed some light on our actions.”

The head of an Islamic faith school says he will challenge an Ofsted report written by inspectors who asked nine-year-old students to define homosexuality. Enraged parents at Olive Tree Primary School, Bury Park Road, threatened to take their children out of the independent school on Thursday after the Ofsted representatives admitted to questioning a group of nine and ten-year-old pupils on their understanding of homosexuality and gay marriage.

The schools watchdog has said that the session was designed to gauge tolerance at the school and its pupils, though parents have said that the incident “unduly sexualised” their children.

Islam forbids homosexuality and Olive Tree does not teach sexual education.

EU “far-right” expects success in elections

Eurosceptic, anti-immigrant parties hope to make big gains in vote for a new EU parliament.

Geert Wilders’ far-right Freedom Party (PVV) looks set to make gains in the European parliamentary elections on May 22, with some opinion polls predicting the party could become the largest Dutch faction in Brussels.

Seeking greater influence in Europe, Wilders in November announced an alliance with France’s “far-right” National Front with the aim of “liberating Europe from within”. 

As part of this broader anti-EU movement, he vowed to destroy what he called the “monster of Brussels”, tapping into a pool of disgruntled voters who still feel the pinch of the economic crisis.

The Dutch are fed up with Europe, Wilders often repeats in his campaign, claiming that the union has brought the country nothing but austerity measures and tax hikes, while Brussels pours billions into ailing EU economies such as Greece and Cyprus.
