No doubt a few of those kidnapped were Muslim, but they will not be sold as sex slaves, merely toldÂ to stop going to school. Chibok was a largely Christian town, in a Muslim area. And it is Christians and those Muslims-who-are-not-Muslims (assorted local emirs) — see the remarks of Abubakar Shekau, and of a defector from Boko Haram, now a Christian, posted at NER the other day — who are the targets of Boko Haram. And Boko Haram is not the only Muslim group operating in Nigeria, and the army, mainly Muslim-officered, is not eager to take them on, and some army members no doubt harbor mixed feelings about going to war against fellow Muslims.

HereÂ is Robin Harris on the Western media, carefully refusing to discuss the religion of the kidnapped girls, or most of them, and of other victims of Boko Haram.

It is time to take stock, especially on the left, since these things are part of the world’s daily round.

Leave aside the parrot-cry of “Islamophobia” for a moment. I will return to it. Leave aside, too, the pretences that it is all beyond comprehension. “Progressives” might ask instead: what do Kabul, Karachi, Kashmir, Kunming and a Kansas airport have in common? Is it that they all begin with “K”? Yes. Prince Charles to visit North Cyprus this weekend

No doubt he will be asking the Turkish Muslim invaders to restore the churches and to pay compo the the families of murdered Christians, and give them back their stolen property. Â (And pigs will fly!)

Shaykh Nazim often insisted that Prince Charles had accepted Islam in secret and had taken the name Prince Hussain, but Prince Charles has never confirmed this.

Turkish Cypriot spiritual leader Shaykh Nazim, who with followers all over the world was one of the most influential Muslim figures of this era, passed away at the age of 92 on Wednesday.

Criticism of extremist rhetoric and the numerous terror plots that have emanated from Falls Church, Va.’s Dar al-Hijrah Islamic center equals “ignorantly painting all Muslims with the same brush” and “dividing the country using fear and hate,” a Virginia state legislator said.

Alfonso Lopez, a DemocraticÂ candidate for Congress, slammed Fox News host Eric Bolling forÂ denouncing Lopez’s resolutionÂ honoring the 30^thÂ anniversary of the controversial Virginia mosque.

Bolling criticized theÂ resolutionÂ because of Dar al-Hijrah’s ties to American-born al-Qaida cleric Anwar al-Awlaki and convicted Fort. Hood shooter Nidal Hassan during a March 19 broadcast.

“For Fox News to smear an important community institution by ignorantly painting all Muslims with the same brush is reprehensible,” LopezÂ wrote on his Facebook pageand in aÂ post on the Daily Kos. “At its core, this is a rightwing media attack on the faith and religious freedom of hard-working patriotic Americans.”

“All Muslims”, the “same brush”: Â Lopez speaks the language of the Muslim invaders. He is their boy, he is in their bag. They will chew him up and spit him out when he is no longer needed. In the meantime, he does enormous damage.

Italy’s navy rescues more than 4,000 “migrants” in a week

A fantastic situation. Islamic headbangers Â are encouraged and assisted by the Italian navy to invade the dar al-harb.

Italian navy vessels rescued 4,362 people in a week from boats off Sicily. (RTL)

More than 20,000 migrants have arrived by sea in Italy through North Africa and the Middle East so far this year.

It adds to a crisis that has intensified since the Arab Spring upheavals of 2011 and the civil war in Syria.

Navy helicopters helped sighting several vessels, many struggling to stay afloat because of overcrowding.

Rescued migrants included pregnant women, children and a newborn child.

Italy has struggled for decades with a steady stream of migrants travelling in small, unsafe boats from North Africa to the tiny island of Lampedusa, midway between Tunisia and Sicily.
