At least the division within Arab countries is now being noticed. But what is still verboten is the subject of rich, lightly-populated Arab sheikdoms, and the poverty of the Arabs — and Muslims — in Egypt, the rest of North Africa (excluding LIbya if it manages to start selling oil again), Yemen, and in Syria, and even Iraq. There is no discussion of what the fabulously rich members of the Umma ought to do to support other members of the Umma, outside their own countries. But it’s clear from the tepid response to appeals to give aid to Syrians that the West is fed up having to shell out still more billions, while the rich Arabs, in such places as Qatar, with trillions to split among fewer than 200,00 Qataris, are not contributing, or contributing so little compared to what they could be doing.

When articles about this appear in the West, written by Westerners, they are overheard in the Arab and Muslim lands. And that’s good. It would  not take much to rouse fury among poorer Arabs and Muslims against the rich Arabs and Muslims. Why should people in Pakistan not resent the waddling emirs of the Gulf who, after all, are members of the same ‘Umma and should be willing to share that wealth with fellow Muslimjs? That’s part of  what belonging to that ‘Umma is suppposed to mean. But the rich Arabs are not going to share more than a very tiny bit. And they have no intention of letting this world-wide caliphate business, or even the idea of  a single Arab state, go anywhere, for it would mean having to share that wealth.

Eventually the poorer Arabs are going to catch on..

MEMRI translates an article from Egyptian magazine El Kibar by Firnas Hafzi, a supposed expert on Hebrew who also writes about fashion, beauty and health.The article breaks new ground in the classic Passover blood libel, recycling the historic medieval blood libels as fact and adding new accusations against Jews.

In another stage of the Passover celebrations, [the Jews] combined the preparation of matzas and the offering up of sacrifices with their enmity towards non-Jews, especially Christians, and mixed the blood of one of their victims into the matza [dough. This was done] especially on Passover, Purim and circumcision rituals. They also used blood in acts of sorcery and witchcraft…

…The draining of the victims’ blood is done in [several ways. One method is] by means of a barrel lined with needles. This is a barrel the size of the victim’s body, with sharp needles that stick into all his limbs when he is placed in it, so that his blood slowly trickles down from every part of his body. This entails excruciating torment, which gives pleasure to the Jews who become drunk with joy at the sight of the blood dripping from the victim’s [body] to the bottom of the barrel and into a container placed there to collect it. [Another method] is to slaughter the victim like a sheep and collecting his blood in a vessel, or else slashing the victim’s veins in numerous places so that the blood flows from the wounds into the vessels. Then the blood is handed to a rabbi who prepares a matza laced with human blood in order to please the Jewish god, Jehovah, who thirsts for blood. New UN Report Promotes Anti-Semitic Libels

Shaima Alawadi was brutally murdered by her husband Kassim Alhimidi for seeking a divorce. Yet Alhimidi was smart enough to use the media’s obsession with “Islamophobia” to deflect attention from his guilt. After murdering his wife, Alhimidi placed a note nearby saying, “This is my country. Go back to yours, terrorist.” The media finally had its proof that criticism of jihad and sharia is a threat to the safety of Muslims, and stories about Islamophobia were splashed across newspapers, magazines, and websites.Police, however, weren’t as gullible as the media. Instead of jumping to conclusions about bigotry and racism, they examined the evidence and realized that Alawadi was murdered by her husband, not by an Islamophobe.

Link to video: Scotland’s victims of female genital mutilation“I didn’t know exactly what was going to happen to me, but after I saw the blade I knew they would definitely hurt me, because that blade is not something to play with,” says 25-year-old Manika, who had her genitals severed with a razor, without an anaesthetic, when she was only eight years old in Gambia. “It’s a pain you can’t even … it’s taking a knife and cutting someone’s flesh.”She looks nervously out of the window over the rooftops of Edinburgh, where she has sought sanctuary, explaining that if she returns she will face a further procedure to “finish” the cutting. However, she may have come to the wrong place. Organisations working directly with communities affected by female genital mutilation (FGM), have told the Guardian that, despite legislation against the practice dating back three decades, UK-born girls are not only being taken abroad for the “cutting season” of the summer holidays, but they are being cut here as well.

“It’s a custom that is very much alive, not just in home countries but inScotland,” says Anela Anwar, from the Glasgow-based charity Roshni. “People have given us information saying girls are being cut in Scotland or we hear that girls are taken back home to be cut over the summer holidays.”
