In December 2012 Barack Obama promised “there will be consequences” if the regime of Bashar Al-Assad in Syria used chemical weapons.

“The world is watching.”

But that was before reformer Assad used chemical weapons on his own people.

The latest line at the White House is, “If he drops sarin on his own people, what’s that got to do with us?”
The New York Times reported:

Mr. Obama’s advisers also raised legal issues. “How can we attack another country unless it’s in self-defense and with no Security Council resolution?” another official said, referring to United Nations authorization. “If he drops sarin on his own people, what’s that got to do with us?”

But they concluded that drawing a firm line might deter Mr. Assad. In addition to secret messages relayed through Russia, Iran and other governments, they decided that the president would publicly address the matter.

Several officials said they recalled no discussion about the “red line” phrase but suspected that it came out of the election-year conversation about Iran and how far to allow its nuclear program to progress before being forced to take action.

CBS released information on the Benghazi 9-11 massacre today that could potentially bring down the Obama Administration.

Buried in their report (down in paragraph eight) CBS reported, “Throughout the night, sources say Americans on the ground in Libya at times felt helpless and abandoned… But they were told immediate help wasn’t available.” But, counterterrorism sources and internal emails reviewed by CBS News express frustration that key responders were ready to deploy, but were not called upon to help.

As always, when Mohammedans say “justice” they mean sharia. “Stigmatising Turks” means Turks demand unearned “respeck”, something they are currently not getting, (not enough of it, anyhow). Its a demand for the acknowledgement of Islamic supremacy.

Bavaria’s Interior Ministry announced April 12, 2013, that the provincial Office of Constitutional Protection (Verfassungsschutz) will monitor local chapters of the website Politically Incorrect (PI) and the small conservative Freedom Party (Die Freiheit). As reported in the media, Bavaria is the first province in Germany to take this step, an important German milestone in ostracizing criticism and/or condemnation of Islam.

As the ministry website explains, the Federal Republic of Germany is a “militant democracy[wehrhafteDemokratie].” The Verfassungsschutz hereby functions as an “early warning system” against threats to a free society. Verfassungsschutz offices at the federal and provincial levels “observe anti-constitutional efforts” (including with secret surveillance) across the political spectrum and report to authorities and the public.

A MUSLIM cleric at one of Scotland’s biggest mosques was arrested in a major drugs swoop.

Cops reportedly found a “significant quantity” of crack cocaine and cash at a property owned by the imam in Leith, Edinburgh. (The Sun  H/T the Religion of Peace)

It’s understood the religious leader, who cannot be named, regularly leads prayers at the capital’s Central Mosque. Last night one source said: “Nobody had any idea. This will come as a huge shock to everyone.

“We must be careful not to jump to conclusions. This comes totally out of the blue.”

The arrest on Thursday came as part of Operation Amend, which saw officers seize more than £500,000 of drugs and cash in the city in two days.

Police Scotland confirmed a man had been arrested and charged in connection with alleged drug offences.

None of the mosque’s directors were available for comment last night.
