Tel Aviv residents left homeless after Iranian missiles cause massive destruction

Buildings three blocks away from the site of an overnight Iranian missile impact in Tel Aviv showed signs of damage, including cracked windows, on Monday.

Closer to the impact site, businesses and apartments were largely bombed out. A 15-story high-rise overlooking the impact site over a parking lot was left entirely windowless.

The president explained that the United States chose not to destroy the island’s oil facilities — at least for now.

“Our Weapons are the most powerful and sophisticated that the World has ever known but, for reasons of decency, I have chosen NOT to wipe out the Oil Infrastructure on the Island,” Trump wrote.

President Donald Trump announced Friday that the United States carried out what he described as “one of the most powerful bombing raids in the History of the Middle East,” declaring that U.S. forces “totally obliterated every MILITARY target” on Iran’s strategic Kharg Island — the regime’s so-called “crown jewel” and primary oil export hub — while warning Tehran its vital energy infrastructure could be targeted next if it interferes with shipping through the Strait of Hormuz.

Iran’s top diplomat at the United Nations declared on Thursday, “We are not going to close the Strait of Hormuz,” apparently contradicting a message purportedly from the new “supreme leader” of the country, Mojtaba Khamenei.

Iranian leaders announced Khamenei as the new dictator of the country this week following the elimination of his father, longtime tyrant Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, on the first day of the American military operation known as “Operation Epic Fury.” The younger Khamenei’s status remains unclear at press time as he has not appeared in public or issued any video statements since the announcement of his ascent to “supreme leader” status. During an event for the Iranian people to pledge “allegiance” to Khamenei, officials dragged out a cardboard effigy of the man, as he could, for unclear reasons, not attend the event.

While the Iranians are willing to die in this war, the Americans are not willing to die on a foreign land, said former R&AW chief Vikram Sood. He highlighted how the Iranians are “playing a different game”, and how that makes a whole lot of difference. 

Speaking to news agency ANI, Sood said, “It’s difficult to say how long it will take, but I think it would last longer than what the Americans thought it would because they were hoping for a short, sharp strike and out. But, the Iranians are playing a different game.They are playing to their strengths. They are knocking off America’s allies, which is creating unrest among them against America.”

“Remember, the Iranians are willing to die, but the Americans are not willing to die on the ground in Iran. They are very very nervous about body-bags coming home. So, they want to keep it to air attacks or missile attacks as far as possible. But that won’t make a difference in the short run. This war, I think the war will go on for a little longer than most expected,” he added.

An Australian woman has taken a video of herself chasing and threatening Iranian guards as they frantically searched for five Iranian women’s soccer team members who sought asylum in Australia.

The footage shows multiple Iranian guards – two men and a woman – running down the steps of a hotel in an attempt to catch up with the players. Trailing behind them and mocking them is an Australian woman who lets them know how she feels.

“You’re in Australia now. You’re in Australia, motherf*cker,” the woman yelled.

“Get the f*ck out of our country, IRGC,” the woman shouted, referring to the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, the Iranian regime’s most loyal and fanatical component of the armed forces.

Iran: New leader Mojtaba is “obsessed with the end of days & has a complete disregard for the value of human life”

If Mojtaba has no problem killing thousands “of his own people” he also “has no problem killing” thousands in Tel Aviv, Israel.

“If he can kill 13,000 of his own people, then he has no problem killing 100,000 in Tel Aviv, because if you don’t care about the lives of your own people, why would you care about the lives of others in Tel Aviv?” Rajabi added.

Iran’s new Supreme Leader, Mojtaba Khamenei, the son of former Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, is described as being “more dangerous,” according to a report.

In my last article, I explained how the religious clerics of Iran effectively hold the nation hostage through rigid constitutional controls that affords extraordinary veto powers to the Ayatollah and his hand-picked Guardian Council.
 
The consequences of this post-revolutionary reality is that any attempt by the Iranian people to elect politicians that might steer the country in a vastly different direction are prevented from ever running for office.
 
But it’s worth taking a closer look at what these clerics actually believe, because while the regime may form a part of an “axis of resistance” against Western hegemony, their motivation and objectives are very different to their allies.
To unpack this, I have no option but to discuss complex religious theology in broad highly simplified terms, otherwise this post will be a book. So by all means add additional context in the comments, but understand the need for brevity on my part.
 
Essentially, the Sunni/Shia split began in 632 CE after the death of the Prophet Muhammad, when Muslims disagreed over who should lead the community: Sunnis supported the election of a political leader (the caliph), while Shias believed leadership belonged to Muhammad’s family, starting with his cousin, with these descendants were known as Imams.

Disturbing rhetoric is emerging from Iranian state media. During a broadcast, presenters reportedly issued direct threats against anti-regime Iranians, warning that opponents of the government could face severe consequences both inside and outside the country.

In one chilling line aired on state television, the message included the warning: “Confiscating property is nothing… we will make your mothers mourn you.”

Human rights groups have long warned that Iranian authorities and affiliated groups have targeted dissidents abroad through intimidation, surveillance, and alleged assassination plots. As tensions escalate, the threats are likely to deepen fears among Iranian activists, journalists and opposition figures living overseas.
