Stella Maris, the Pro-Palestine outgoing rector of the University of St Andrews in Scotland, has been banned from campus for seven years after an independent investigation found that her behavior toward university staff and student representatives was consistent with bullying.
Maris previously sparked controversy after emailing students accusing Israel of carrying out “genocidal attacks” in Gaza, leaving some students distressed and concerned for their safety.

In France, a 19-year-old Afghan migrant has been found guilty of r@ping goats and a lamb and brutally abusing them. The court sentenced him to 30 months in prison.
One day, the farm’s operator noticed that the animals living there were repeatedly being found injured. Some animals had their legs tied with ropes and had severe injuries to their genitals, which were bleeding. A veterinarian also confirmed their injuries.
Following this, surveillance cameras were installed at the farm to identify the perpetrator. The cameras recorded the suspicious activities of a young man. The investigation revealed that a total of six animals had been targeted, including five goats and one lamb. One lamb’s condition became so serious that its life was at risk, while one goat later died.
One night, the accused returned to the farm. After his presence was detected through the cameras, the police were informed. Police arrived at the scene and arrested him while he was in a compromising position behind a goat.
During the investigation, DNA tests were conducted on semen samples collected from all six animals, and the accused’s DNA was found. Evidence recovered from his mobile phone also helped the investigation.
The trial was held at the court in Aix-en-Provence. The accused denied the charges against him. However, during a conversation with a psychologist, he had said that a person who does such things does so to avoid raping a woman, because a goat cannot identify him afterward.
The court found him guilty and sentenced him to 30 months in prison. He was also banned from re-entering France.
