Meloni is done. Cooked like a goose. You can stick a fork in it.

“I was disappointed with Italy. I was disappointed with the UK, Germany, and France. We were disappointed with most of them. Spain is a horror show,” Trump said.

Iran accuses NATO of ‘complicity’ in US war: What role did EU nations play?

US President Donald Trump meets with NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte in the Oval Office of the White House in Washington, DC, on June 24, 2026

NATO boss tries to convince Trump that European allies were there for the US during war on Iran, revealing new details on the logistics behind the war.

Since the beginning of the US-Israel war on Iran, President Donald Trump has been critical of his European allies for not supporting the military campaign against Tehran.

On Wednesday, the United States president expressed his displeasure with members of the transatlantic alliance during a meeting with NATO chief Mark Rutte.

NATO’s Rutte, who is visiting the US in an attempt to ease the transatlantic tensions, defended Europe. He highlighted Europe’s involvement in Iran war in media interviews in an attempt to appease the Trump administration.

Rutte’s a$$ is on the line. He tries to save it.

ROME (AP) — The Italian government closed ranks on Friday to slam U.S. President Donald Trump over his claim that Premier Giorgia Meloni had “begged” for a photo with him during the recent G7 summit, a pushback that suggested America’s longtime European ally had had enough of Trump’s boasting and criticism.

AP lies just like her.

Italy’s foreign minister canceled a trip to the U.S. after Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni denied President Trump’s claim that she “begged” for a photo at the G7 summit. Meloni called Trump’s statement “completely fabricated” and offensive.

‘Israel-Lebanon deal not possible without Hezbollah’s consent’

That means there won’t be a deal. Hezbollah will not disarm, Iran will keep the supply lines open and Israel will keep bombing them until there’s nothing left to bomb.

The agreement between Lebanon and Israel is an “existential threat” to Hezbollah’s presence, Al Jazeera’s Ali Hashem says.

Despite that, the agreement, which includes disarming Hezbollah, can’t be enforced without the group’s consent.

“Without Hezbollah’s consent, this is not going to happen,” Hashem said in Al Jazeera’s Doha studio. “This is going to be another recipe for another confrontation. The Lebanese government isn’t capable of imposing this deal. It’s not the de facto force on the ground.”

The deal, signed earlier today, is about “putting Hezbollah in the corner,” Hashem said.

The Trump administration has said Iran’s unfrozen money will be used to buy US agricultural products, which will then be provided to Iran.

  • US Secretary of State Rubio tells Bahraini leaders in Manama that the US wants to ensure agreement with Iran takes into account the “interest of allies“.
  • Iran’s Revolutionary Guard has rejected a new shipping lane through the Strait of Hormuz, warning that any vessel using it will be in danger.
  • The head of the International Atomic Energy Agency says visits to Iran’s nuclear sites will take place, but Tehran says inspections will only happen once a final deal is reached with the US.

Latest updates:

  • Israel continues to attack southern Lebanon as Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu says the Israeli military is “not going to withdraw” from occupied areas.
  • Lebanese group Hezbollah has accused Israel of targeting civilians trying to return to their homes in Lebanon’s south, killing two people and wounding a third.
  • After a meeting in Bahrain, US Secretary of State Marco Rubio says Washington and its Gulf allies have rejected any Iranian fees or restrictions on transit through the Strait of Hormuz.

Iran says US to unfreeze $12bn in funds

That can’t be. That is simply not happening.

  • Iran’s top negotiator Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf says an agreement has been reached with the United States to release $12bn in frozen Iranian funds.
  • Trump says Tehran agreed to allow international nuclear inspections and any released Iranian assets will be solely used to buy US agricultural products.

US and Iran can work together to reopen Strait of Hormuz, Ghalibaf says

Iran’s chief negotiator says the strait will never return to the way it was before the war but Iran will fully comply with international law.

So far, there has not been any direct statement from Iran on whether inspectors from the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) will be let back into the country.

  • Iran’s top negotiator Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf says an agreement has been reached with the US to release $12bn in frozen Iranian funds.
  • This comes after the US announced a temporary easing of sanctions to allow the sale of Iranian oil and petrochemicals until August 21.
  • US President Donald Trump says Tehran has agreed to allow international nuclear inspections and that any released Iranian assets will be used to buy US agricultural products.
  • Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu says Israeli troops will continue to occupy southern Lebanon and “demolish” Hezbollah infrastructure.

Lebanon

A new round of US-mediated negotiations between Israel and Lebanon begins today in Washington and is due to last until Thursday.

Here’s what you need to know:

  • Lebanon is represented by Ambassador Nada Moawad, while the Israeli delegation is headed by Ambassador Yechiel Leiter. US officials are also participating in the talks.
  • The negotiations mark the fifth round between the two sides.
  • The latest discussions come after US-Iran negotiations resulted in a ceasefire agreement on June 19 and the creation of a “Lebanon de-confliction cell” tasked with supporting efforts to end Israeli attacks in the country. The ceasefire has largely held.
  • Lebanon is seeking Israel’s withdrawal from the south of the country, where the Israeli military have established a so-called “buffer zone” that encompasses about 6 percent of Lebanese territory.
  • Israel says it is seeking the “disarmament” of Hezbollah.
  • Hezbollah says the talks should be limited to “mutual security” and that its weapons must be kept off the table.

Here’s what happened overnight:

  • Iran says technical talks in Switzerland with the US have successfully concluded, and that the next phase of negotiations will involve the high-level political committee overseeing the mediation.
  • Iran’s Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf has defended the decision to hold talks with the US, saying Iranian delegates went to Switzerland to end the bloodshed in Lebanon.
  • Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Defence Minister Israel Katz and Chief of the General Staff Eyal Zamir say Israeli troops will continue to occupy southern Lebanon.
  • The UN says Sunday marked the first time its peacekeepers detected no air attacks in Lebanon since March 2.
  • Oman’s Foreign Minister Badr Albusaidi reaffirms commitment to “toll-free passage” in the Strait of Hormuz after talks with Iranian diplomats in Muscat.

Trump: if Iran closes the straight again they won’t have a country anymore

The problem in Iran is Islam.
Until that ends, there will be no change.

“There was a little bit of threatening, there was a little bit of whining. But at the end of the day, the talks continued and we made great progress.”- J.D. Vance

Trump Threatens Iran — Close the Strait ‘and You Won’t Have a Country’

After reports surfaced that Iran had closed the vital Strait of Hormuz, President Donald Trump told the Iranians who are meeting in Switzerland with Vice President JD Vance, “You close it, and you won’t have a country.  You won’t even make it back to your fucking country.”

On Saturday, Iran announced it was closing the Strait, claiming Israel’s retaliatory attacks on Hezbollah in Lebanon violated the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signed last week to end the war. Trump also threatened to take full control of the Strait and “blow the shit” out of Iran.

From here, things get murky (as they always do in the Middle East).

Our military says the Strait was never closed, that ships continued through without incident.

There are reports that Trump’s threat caused a walkout of the peace talks in Switzerland, but Vance says that the talks went well.

What we do know is that Hezbollah fired on Israel first. We also know that Hezbollah is a proxy of Iran and is funded by the IRGC. And every decent person knows Israel has every right to defend itself, so it was not Israel or the U.S. that first violated the precious MOU; it was the sociopaths in charge of Iran, or the sociopaths in Hezbollah.

Using his Truth Social account, Trump addressed this issue directly. “Iran must immediately stop their highly paid PROXIES in Lebanon from causing trouble, wrote Trump on Sunday. “If they don’t, we’ll hit Iran very hard again, just like we did last week, only harder!!!”

JD Vance Calls Lebanese President for Talks on Ending Israeli Invasion

Trump obviously wants to put an end to this war. Democrats and the media successfully turned public opinion against it. Gas prices turned public opinion against it. Worse still for the president, due to the sudden and unexpected opportunity to take out most of Iran’s leadership four months ago, there was no opportunity to sell the public on the need to go to war with Iran before the war started. Trump tells Starmer to call it quits, in his own special way….

A Labour source claims Keir Starmer feels “betrayed”.

Spare us. Starmer is the betrayer.

He lied to the British people in his manifesto — promising no tax rises for working families, secure borders and competent government — then delivered record stealth taxes, immigration chaos and economic failure.

He didn’t get betrayed. He betrayed the country. Resign.

In order to make himself look impressive to President Trump and the rest of the world at the G7 last week, Keir Starmer staged a FAKE RAID on a merchant vessel claiming it was a Russian ship illegally transporting sanctioned oil.

Trump Predicts UK’s Starmer Will Resign After Having ‘Failed Badly’ on Immigration and Energy

TURNBERRY, SCOTLAND - JULY 28: U.S. President Donald Trump meets with British Prime Minist

U.S. President Donald Trump has predicted that British Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer will be forced to resign after failing on issues such as immigration and energy.

Keir Starmer sold his country out to invading hordes of Muslim savages. England would’ve been better off losing World War II compared to what’s going on right now.

Keir Starmer sent warning letters to 13,000 rapists, looked the other way at violent crime and rapes committed by Paki Mohammedans. He ignored the Rape Inquiry report. He’s a monster. Anyone who patronizes him is a monster too. Weak men make hard times, hard men (who tell hard truths) create good times.
