Kremlin: we call on the United States to show common sense.

Russia is urging that the United States abandon its naval blockade on the communist-run island, stressing that more room must be given for legitimate negotiations.

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov told his Cuban counterpart Bruno Rodriguez on Wednesday that Cuba is “a brotherly nation” – according to Reuters.

The Cuban FM visited Moscow Wednesday. This as blackouts and severe fuel shortages have only been compounded by the US oil emargo.

“Together with most members of the international community, we call on the United States to show common sense and responsibility and refrain from plans for a naval blockade of the Island of Freedom,” said Lavrov.

“We categorically reject the unfounded accusations against Russia and Cuba and our cooperation, which allegedly pose a threat to the interests of the United States or anyone else.”

Speaking to reporters early this week, President Trump touted his tightened embargo on Cuba, pointing to moves to choke off Venezuelan oil flows and pressure Mexico to halt crude exports to the island – steps that have triggered acute fuel shortages and near total airline stoppages at Havana’s main international airport.

“Cuba is right now a failed nation, and they don’t even have jet fuel for airplanes to take off, clogging up their runway,“ Trump said aboard Air Force One. Trash is also piling up across cities in neighborhoods, as there’s literally not enough gas to power the trucks.

Lavrov Pleads To US For ‘Brotherly Nation’

First it pushed harmless content like sports and weather… then it flipped to political propaganda, organizing dissent, and fueling mass protests.

They routed the money through Cayman Islands accounts, claiming it was “Pakistani aid” while secretly funding digital psyops and street uprisings. These are all a part of your “color revolutions.” Ladies and gentleman, these people have been robbing YOU and our COUNTRY blind for decades, while you also pay for propaganda against yourself and your own demise.

The United States has threatened, once again, to quit the International Energy Agency (IEA) if the organization, created in the aftermath of the 1970s Arab oil embargo, doesn’t return to forecasting energy demand without strongly promoting green energy.

“If it goes back to what it was — it was a fabulous international data recording agency, it was getting into critical minerals, was focused on big energy issues — we’re all in on that,” U.S. Energy Secretary Chris Wright said ahead of an IEA ministerial meeting this week.

“But if they insist that it’s so dominated and infused with climate stuff — yes, then we’re out,” Secretary Wright said ahead of the meeting, as carried by Bloomberg. 

Last November, the IEA dropped its predictions that oil demand growth would peak in a matter of a few years in the first major shift since it started promoting net-zero and green energy early this decade.

The tension between the Trump Administration and the IEA has escalated in recent months.

A senior advisor to President Donald Trump has warned of a 90% chance of military action against Iran in the coming weeks, stating that “the boss is getting fed up.”

The unnamed advisor told Axios that while some around Trump have warned against war with Iran, kinetic action is likely soon.

“The sources noted it would likely be a joint U.S.-Israeli campaign that’s much broader in scope — and more existential for the regime — than the Israeli-led 12-day war last June, which the U.S. eventually joined to take out Iran’s underground nuclear facilities,” the report explains.

The report adds:

“The boss is getting fed up. Some people around him warn him against going to war with Iran, but I think there is 90% chance we see kinetic action in the next few weeks,” one Trump adviser said.

Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni on Tuesday vowed to continue cracking down on illegal migration after a Rome court blocked the deportation of an 23-time convicted Algerian man and ordered the Italian government to compensate him for trying to deport him.

The Italian newspaper La Stampa explained that last week, a court in Rome ruled in favor of Redouane Laaleg, a 56 year-old Algerian illegal migrant that the Italian government sought to deport on grounds that he represents a danger to Italian society.

The court not only blocked the man’s deportation proceedings, but ordered the Italian Interior Ministry to compensate him with 700 euro for attempting to enforce his deportation.

Laaleg reportedly entered Italy in 1995 and has never held a residence permit. Since 2001, he has been repeatedly reported to judicial authorities for non-compliance with immigration laws, and received 23 different convictions between 1999 and 2023  for a litany of crimes committed against individuals, properties, and the Italian public administration mainly in the region of Liguria — including kicking and punching a woman.

Two different expulsion orders against the man were issued by prefects from the cities of Cuneo and Alessandria. Sources told La Stampa that the man has 13 different aliases, often gave false details during police checks, and had been detained at least 11 times. According to Tousi.tv all of the members of the working group are connected to extreme Muslims, so we know what to expect. The point is to prepare a law that will make it criminal to criticize Islam. According to the British Free Speech Union, the law should prevent criticism of Islamic ideology (the Quran and other holy scriptures), Sharia, Islamic culture and phenomena such as Islamic “grooming” and rape gangs.
