In response to the blatant violation of the ceasefire agreement on Monday earlier this week, the IDF eliminated terrorist Ahmad Hasan, who took part in numerous terror attack plans against IDF soldiers in the northern Gaza Strip.
The IDF carried out a targeted strike in Southern Lebanon this morning, killing a Hezbollah artillery commander who violated the ceasefire by rebuilding Hezbollah’s artillery network and embedding it in the civilian population of south Lebanon.
The strike came a day after Lebanon’s prime minister toured the south to demonstrate that Hezbollah had been disarmed south of the Litani River – a claim today’s operation appears to directly contradict.
The trick here is that in reality, there is no occupation, so there should be no resistance. The fact is that Israel is the only country in the world with any actual legal right to the territories that today comprise Israel, the West Bank, and Gaza. This is established in the Mandate for Palestine, which was intended to establish a Jewish national home, and is still the governing legal authority for who actually has a legal right to the area, as it has not been superseded.
Also, even by the terms of Mashal’s own argument, there has been no occupation in Gaza since 2005, so there should be no resistance. Mashal is couching what is actually a jihad to destroy the Jewish state in terms of occupation and resistance because he knows those terms will resonate among leftists in the West.

*Blatant Ceasefire Violation as Four Hamas Gunmen Emerge From Tunnel and Are Killed Opening Fire on IDF Troops*
The IDF said the incident occurred around 8 a.m. in the Rafah area as troops from the 7th Armored Brigade were operating against a tunnel in Israeli controlled territory along the so called Yellow Line in eastern Rafah.
According to the military, the four attackers exited the tunnel and immediately opened fire on the force, prompting a close range exchange. Israeli soldiers returned fire and eliminated all four terrorists.
No IDF troops were injured.
The IDF said the incident constituted a clear breach of the ceasefire by Hamas.
