U.S. President Donald Trump will address globalist elites in Davos, Switzerland, on Wednesday at the World Economic Forum (WEF) and set out the future of Greenland as well as the course, direction and speed of a host of other geopolitical initiatives he is driving.
AFP reports, “Trump is expected to dominate the week-long gathering of global elites at the Swiss ski resort, putting the transatlantic alliance to the test with his push to take over the Danish autonomous territory.”
A frantic Europe is weighing countermeasures after Trump threatened to impose tariffs on eight European countries regarding the Greenland standoff — though Washington has warned any retaliatory levies over moves to secure the Arctic would be “unwise.”
The AFP reports notes Trump is not due to arrive at the WEF until Wednesday, but was already overshadowing the agenda with a series of posts on his Truth Social platform, saying he had a “very good” call with NATO chief Mark Rutte over Greenland.
“I agreed to a meeting of the various parties in Davos, Switzerland,” he said in the post late Monday, AFP notes.

Best of that pic was the then Japanese Prime Minster standing on Trump’s side of the table with a look of wtf at the Europeans trying to lecture Trump.

Senior opposition figures have raised concerns about the Albanese government’s hate crimes laws, warning against “excessive expansion of government powers”.
It comes as the Albanese government aims to strengthen protections against antisemitism and other hate crimes.
Key provisions include tougher penalties for hate crimes, expanded powers to list hate groups, and new powers to cancel visas for non-citizens engaging in hate speech.
Under the laws, an organisation may be banned in order to “protect the Australian community against social, economic, psychological, and physical harm”.

Critics of the legislation, including Nationals Senator Matt Canavan and Liberal Senator Jacinta Nampijinpa Price have raised concerns this could limit freedoms.
Senior opposition figures have raised concerns about the Albanese government’s hate crimes laws, warning against “excessive expansion of government powers”.
Mr Canavan has announced he will oppose the new laws, saying they were “badly written and too broad.”
He warned ordinary actions, such as a boycott of Russian products, could theoretically be captured under the legislation.

‘Masters of the universe’ arrive in Davos on private jets while lecturing public on climate change
Ezra Levant and Avi Yemini are on the ground in Switzerland as politicians, business leaders, tech giants, and members of the establishment media descend on the town of Davos for this year’s World Economic Forum.
As world and business leaders travel to Switzerland for the annual World Economic Forum summit, Rebel News’ Ezra Levant and Avi Yemini gave viewers an exclusive look at the secluded private airport used to shuttle elites to the Swiss Alpine town of Davos.
Speaking from St. Gallen–Altenrhein Airport — a little over an hour’s drive outside Davos — Ezra discussed the hypocrisy of influential public figures arriving to the summit on private jets while repeatedly lecturing the public to take action in their own lives against climate change.
“It’s so incredible to watch the masters of the universe — that’s what I call them — who fly in private jets only. And some of them fly in a jet here and then take a helicopter for the last part of the journey to Davos to tell the rest of us ‘reduce your carbon footprint, don’t eat so much meat, turn down your thermostat in the winter,'” he said.
Avi also commented on the blatant hypocrisy exhibited by hundreds of the global ‘elites’ at the annual World Economic Forum gathering.
“Over the last five years that we’ve been here, we’ve recorded their carbon footprints, we’ve asked them about how is this worth it, especially after the era of Covid where we learned how efficient Zoom is in comparison,” he said.
“I was wondering on the way up here, will this be the year that they finally practice what they preach? And as we were driving in, the reaction you were having to seeing that many private jets parked here showing us that this year in fact, if anything, it possibly has more jets than ever,” Avi continued.
Prime Minister Mark Carney is expected to speak at the summit on Tuesday, with President Donald Trump scheduled to address World Economic Forum leaders and the public on Wednesday.

Anyway the key name in there is the UN’s World Food Program which has faked more famines than a dieting teenage girl trying to skip class.
Despite claims by the UN that half of Yemen’s children were “severely malnourished” and that 85,000 children had died from malnutrition, the country’s population actually shot up from 30 million to 39 million.
Last December, Cindy McCain, the executive director of the World Food Program, claimed that the organization could “use $17 billion right now” because “people in Syria will starve to death.”
McCain and the WFP have also been insisting that Afghanistan was on the verge of famine, and once again blamed President Trump’s aid cuts (that were benefiting the Taliban). Back in 2021, Cindy McCain tweeted, “millions of people in Afghanistan are facing starvation this winter.”
They didn’t starve to death in Afghanistan, in Syria, in Gaza, in Somalia, in Yemen or anywhere else.
Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian blamed the United States for Iran’s crises, accusing Washington of imposing “inhumane” sanctions while warning that any challenge to Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei would amount to an “all-out war” against the Iranian nation.
The statement reflects Tehran’s growing effort to rally domestic support around the Supreme Leader while shifting blame for Iran’s internal crisis onto foreign adversaries — particularly the United States.
The Supreme Leader of the Islamic Republic of Iran is talking like a man who has just won a war, and maybe he has.
The nationwide demonstrations have largely subsided. President Donald Trump has not yet made good on his Jan. 2 statement that “if Iran shots and violently kills peaceful protesters, which is their custom, the United States of America will come to their rescue,” or on Jan. 13 assurance to the Iranian protesters that “HELP IS ON ITS WAY.” In fact, the president appears to have walked all that back, writing on Friday: “I greatly respect the fact that all scheduled hangings, which were to take place yesterday (Over 800 of them), have been cancelled by the leadership of Iran. Thank you!”
After having promised the protesters in Iran that they should keep going, assuring them that “help is on the way” and repeatedly threatening the Iranian government with a possible violent intervention by the American military, Donald Trump suddenly turned back, and announced that he had it on good authority that the Iranian regime had stopped its violence, so there was no longer any need for the Americans to intervene.
He even praised the government of Iran, thanking it for not executing 800 protesters who, Trump claimed, were scheduled to be hung. In return, Ayatollah Khamenei has again denounced the Great Satan, and another senior Iranian official has just given his own response to Trump’s pusillanimity.
