U.S. President Donald Trump will attend the World Economic Forum (WEF) annual gathering in Davos, Switzerland, this week as he continues to challenge the established world order with a series of geopolitical victories and the promise of more to come.

Since returning to the White House the president has withdrawn from numerous wasteful and unaccountable international organizations, including the U.N. climate treaty, captured Venezuela’s socialist dictator Nicolas Maduro following an attack on the capital Caracas and is now looking to annex Greenland.

He has also challenged members of the NATO alliance to step up and start paying their way without relying so much on U.S. taxpayer dollars.

Trump will be joined this year by more than 60 heads of state and government at the snowy confab of corporate and cultural elites.

Khamenei Celebrates ‘Defeat’ of U.S., Mocks ‘Criminal’ Trump: America Must Be ‘Held Accountable’

“The Iranian nation defeated the US,” he declared in another post.

“The Iranian nation defeated the US,” declared Iran’s Supreme Leader, accusing President Donald Trump of inflicting mass casualties and leading a failed bid to reassert American control — insisting “the US has lost its dominance over Iran” and must now “be held accountable.”

In a brazen rhetorical attack by a foreign leader against a sitting U.S. president, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei took to social media and state-linked platforms over the weekend to publicly blame President Trump for unrest in Iran and claim that Tehran had triumphed over America.

“We find the US President guilty due to the casualties, damages and slander he inflicted upon the Iranian nation,” the Islamic dictator wrote on Saturday, asserting that the United States — and Trump personally — were behind what he called a “sedition” orchestrated by the U.S. 

“From the beginning of the Islamic Revolution until today, the US has lost its dominance over Iran,” he wrote, adding that the Iranian nation “struck a major blow” to the “sedition.”

  The country’s supreme leader says foreign-backed protests ‘caused massive damage and killed several thousands’.

  The “revolutionary guards”, the henchmen of the regime did this. The blood is on their hands.

  Khamenei  accused protesters of widespread destruction, “including burning more than 250 mosque and medical facilities”

  

  Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei says actors linked to the United States and Israel were responsible for killing “several thousands” of people during weeks of antigovernment protests in the country.

  “Those linked to Israel and US caused massive damages and killed several thousands” during the protests that convulsed Iran for more than two weeks, Khamenei said on Saturday.

  He accused the two nations of direct involvement in the violence, describing US President Donald Trump as a “criminal”. “The latest anti-Iran sedition was different in that the US president personally became involved,” Iranian state media quoted him as saying.

  Iranian authorities have increasingly pointed the finger at foreign powers for the unrest, accusing longstanding geopolitical rivals – mainly Israel and the US – of fomenting instability and directing operations on the ground.

  Khamenei warned that while Iran would avoid escalation beyond its borders, those it holds responsible would face consequences. “We will not drag the country into war, but we will not let domestic or international criminals go unpunished,” he said.

Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps and other entities set about killing peaceful protesters with impunity, whereupon Trump wrote on January 13: “Iranian Patriots, KEEP PROTESTING – TAKE OVER YOUR INSTITUTIONS!!! Save the names of the killers and abusers. They will pay a big price. I have cancelled all meetings with Iranian Officials until the senseless killing of protesters STOPS. HELP IS ON ITS WAY. MIGA!!! PRESIDENT DONALD J. TRUMP.”

The Iranian people trusted him. They kept protesting, even as the inhuman guardians of the Islamic Republic mowed them down in ever-increasing numbers, as many as 20,000. They renamed streets after him. They knew that he would send the help he promised. They knew he would help them see the end of the bloodthirsty and demonic regime that has murdered so very many Iranians since 1979. They knew they finally had someone who heard their cries. Senior Iranian Cleric Calls for Executing Protesters, Threatens Trump

Ayatollah Ahmad Khatami, a high-ranking member of the Iranian theocracy who sits on several of its highest governing bodies, on Friday demanded the execution of protesters and made threats against President Donald Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

Khatami is a belligerent hardline cleric and close associate of Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, who personally appointed him to several important positions.
