Iran Sends U.S. Revamped ‘Peace Proposal’

Iran recently sent an updated peace proposal to America via Pakistani mediators, the Foreign Ministry confirmed on Monday, which reportedly includes demands for “reparations” and no meaningful concessions on the country’s illicit nuclear activity.

The Iranian Tasnim News Agency, which is believed to be close to the Islamist regime, first reported the existence of an undated proposal to end the current conflict delivered to the United States. According to Tasnim’s “source close to the Iranian negotiating team,” Tehran’s proposed deal would require America to pay unspecified “reparations” for the destruction caused by its bombing during “Operation Epic Fury.” The new proposal also reportedly demands the lifting of all sanctions on the Iranian regime, placed in response to both the illicit nuclear program and Iran’s long history of human rights atrocities and sponsorship of terrorism. Iran is also reportedly demanding that America unfreeze Iranian assets seized in response to its terrorist activities.

The attack came the week before the Muslim holiday of Eid al-Adha, or Feast of the Sacrifice, and the annual Hajj pilgrimage to the holy site of Mecca in Saudi Arabia.

Authorities Identify Teen Shooters in Attack on Islamic Center in San Diego

The identities of the two teen shooters responsible for the three fatal shootings at the Islamic Center in San Diego were released by NBC News.

The shooters were identified as Cain Clark, 17, and Caleb Vazquez, 18.

The teen shooters both died of self-inflicted gunshot wounds.

Five people are dead, including the shooters, and multiple injured in a shooting at the Islamic Center at 7050 Eckstrom Avenue.

Previously, law enforcement officials said the suspects died of self-inflicted gunshot wounds. At a briefing this afternoon, police said the suspects were 17 and 19.

No motive has been provided. Investigators are examining possible anti-Islamic writings found in the car where police found the dead suspects, two senior law enforcement officials said.

Officials said they are treating the shooting as a hate crime investigation unless evidence suggests otherwise.

Among the deceased victims was a security guard who worked at the centre and “played a pivotal role” in preventing the attack from being “much worse”, officials said.

“It’s fair to say his actions were heroic,” Wahl said. “Undoubtedly, he saved lives today.”

Authorities have not yet publicly identified the three victims. But community leaders have identified the guard as Amin Abdullah. Local media reports suggested he was a father of eight.

Pro-Palestinian ‘activists’ say Israeli forces are intercepting a flotilla of more than 50 boats carrying aid for Gaza in international waters west of Cyprus.

The Global Sumud Flotilla (GSF) said its fleet was being boarded in what it called an illegal act of piracy about 250 nautical miles (460km) from Gaza, which is under an Israeli maritime blockade. Its video stream showed armed commandos climbing onto several boats.

Last month, Israeli forces intercepted 22 boats from the same flotilla near Crete.

Israel doesn’t built peace on illusions

I was not raised to see the world through the eyes of Israel. I was raised, like many in the Arab world, on stories of power and resistance, of pride and grievance. But life has a way of breaking the simplicity of inherited narratives. It forces you to confront reality, not as it is told to you, but as it unfolds before your own eyes.


And today, what I see is this: a small nation, surrounded by those who have sworn its destruction, refusing, once and for all, to live on borrowed time.
Let me speak plainly, as a Moroccan Muslim who has seen both sides of this story.

There are voices, loud, dramatic, endlessly pessimistic, claiming that Israel’s war was unnecessary, reckless, even futile. They speak as if strength itself were a sin.
