While Australia celebrates the success of a brilliant young Afghan refugee who ended the year with a score of 99.8,  Britain sentences the Glasgow bombers, brothers in arms of doctor Mohammed Haneef, devout Muslims all, and somehow (just how?) afflicted by the same ideology that drives good old doctor Zawahiri, Osama bin Laden’s personal quack. Lets hope that Shaheen Hasmat uses his qualifications and his talent to help his countrymen (and women) in war-torn Afghanistan and not against us, the infidels who enabled him …
