Jewish holidays are offensive to Muslims:
Access to the city’s holy sites are in particularly high demand this week because of the Jewish holiday of Sukkot, which Christians mark as the Feast of the Tabernacles. Police said they would be on high alert on Monday because it is the day in which thousands flock to the Old City to attend the “Priestly Blessing” at the Western Wall, which is situated just below the Al Aqsa compound. The proximity of the two sites has caused friction and violence on many occasions.

JERUSALEM – Israeli police shut down access to key Muslim holy sites in Jerusalem’s Old City on Sunday, spurring Palestinian protesters to throw rocks and bottles in protest – marking the second consecutive Sunday of disturbances near the city’s overlapping points of prayer for Jews and Muslims.
Clashes broke out in reaction to Israel’s closure of the entrances to the Dome of the Rock and the Al Aqsa Mosque, Islam’s third-holiest site. About 150 Palestinians who gathered for a prayer service near the city’s Lion’s Gate on Sunday morning hurled rocks and bottles at Israeli police, who fired tear gas in attempt to disperse the crowd. Palestinian officials said nine people were treated for light injuries, primarily tear gas inhalation. More Proof of Jewish ownership of Israel — as the world collectively yawns
Day after day, proof after proof after proof. No Islamic history in Jerusalem. Time to remove the Dome; it is occupying Jewish land. And while we are at it, perhaps the Organization of the Islamic Conference can, as Bat Ye’or suggested, express its regrets for over a millennium of jihad wars, land expropriations, enslavements, and humiliations of the conquered non-Muslim populations on three continents.   That could jump start the healing process. In the meantime, perhaps the jihad could remove its teeth from Israel’s neck.

(IsraelNN.com) American Indians support the State of Israel and its G-d-given right to the Land of Israel. Virginia Native American leader Chief Annie Richardson made the statement to National Infrastructure Minister Uzi Landau at a meeting between the two on Sunday morning.
“We believe that G-d has given you this land and we want you to fight for it,” Richardson told Landau. She presented him with a traditional Native American headdress and a bow and arrow, as “a token of the affection of the Native American nations for Israel.” More>>

(The Hill) A State Department spokesman on Friday signaled that the president’s mandate that Iran has two weeks to permit inspections of its recently unveiled uranium refinement plant was not “written in stone.”
“I don’t think that there’s a hard-and-fast deadline,” State Department spokesman Ian Kelly said during Friday’s press briefing.
