On two occasions last week my dog was barred from London buses, not because she’s particularly fierce or big, but on religious grounds. A friend and I had taken her to the park, and as I went across to the grocer, my friend took Daisy, a Manchester terrier, to the bus stop.
As they tried to board the bus, the driver stopped her and told her that there was a Muslim lady on the bus who “might be upset by the dog”. As she attempted to remonstrate, the doors closed and the bus drew away.

Just when you thought Absurd Britannia couldn’t get any more absurd, there comes this news. I am not in favor of surveillance cameras in the first place, but if you’re going to have them at all, and they’re designed to fight against terrorism, then to cover them up in precisely the areas where terrorism is most likely to be being plotted is suicidally stupid.

A man near me yelled at him “This is a Christian area”.
I yelled, “There was a Christian Abbey here in the year 600, (before Mohammed)” at which point a police officer asked me to move along. He did call me Madam and said please.
And my partisan remarks are not meant to denegrate the contribution made by Jews, Hindus, Buddhists etc.

The BBC reporter whom you spoke to may say that his brother is a convert, but looking at him I wouldn’t be surprised if he himself were a convert (the beard and the subject matter of his reporting is suggestive of such a stance). Indigenous converts truly are beyond the pale, for they have freely chosen to abandon freedom and embrace evil.

What, I wonder, would have been done with a bunch of German residents and British fascist sympathisers in SS uniforms who dared to march down a British street waving Swastika banners and shouting ‘Sieg Heil’ and ‘Heil Hitler’ and ‘Victory to the Reich!’ and ‘Death to the King!’ in a British street in 1941 or 1942? Â These Muslims are doing *exactly* the same kind of thing. Â If they were waving swords or guns (and I wonder – did the police frisk them all for concealed weaponry, before permitting them onto the street to carry out their Muslim declaration of war?) they would be recognised for what they are: an enemy force within the gates.
