Bolton on the US joining the UN ‘Human Rights Council’
I found the quote I’ve been looking for all day long: John Bolton on the US joining the UN’s ‘Human Rights Council’ (Hat Tip: The Corner).
Reached Tuesday, Bolton denounced the Obama administration’s decision. “This is like getting on board the Titanic after it’s hit the iceberg,” he said. “This is the theology of engagement at work. There is no concrete American interest served by this, and it legitimizes something that doesn’t deserve legitimacy.”

By the way, Israel, which is not part of any of the UN’s ‘regional’ groupings (the Arabs have blocked our entry into Asia and the Europeans aren’t going to add another country to Europe to make up for it), is the only country in the United Nations that is not eligible for membership on the ‘Human Rights Council.’

Indeed. Why would a minority President and a female minority UN ambassador want to join a body like the ‘Human Rights Council’? The answer is in a post that Melanie Phillips wrote earlier this week in which she quotes none other than the UN ambassador whose trademark was refusing to join the ‘Human Rights Council’: John Bolton.

OKAY AMERICA – IMPEACH THIS MONGREL.
I am well versed in diplomatic protocol and a head of state does not bow to another head of state. In the UK a neck bow is an acceptable manner of greeting to the Queen unless one is receiving an honour from her. In Saudi Arabia it is not customary to bow to the “King” unless one is a servant of his. Apart from anything else, it was not a bow, a gentleman keeps his legs and back straight and bows from the waist down, certainly not with legs akimbo like a giggling girl on her first court appearance.
Never mind that last sentence, I keep forgetting Obambi is not a gentleman. You can take the hood out of the ghetto, you can never take the ghetto out of the hood.
