I was just there a month ago. The mosque, believe it or not, is located underneath the cathedral. Heaven knows how that came about. Is the Catholic church aiding and abetting the spread of Islam?
They say that “the sanctuary of a mosque should be respected in the same way as that of Christian churches and Jewish synagogues.” But would police really not enter a church or synagogue in order to make an arrest? I doubt that.

PALMA – THREE arrests were made at Palma’s main mosque in Calle Joan Mestre after police followed a North African suspect into the building. He was arrested together with the president of the Moslem Defence League and the mosque caretaker, both of whom had reportedly tried to prevent the police from entering the premises, saying that the sanctuary of a mosque should be respected in the same way as that of Christian churches and Jewish synagogues.The Moslems claimed that the police had become violent and had used force in making the arrests. However, the police have a very different story to relate. They state they were following a man who had failed to stop when being flagged down on his motorcycle for a roadside check, and that he had taken refuge in the mosque.
On hearing of the incident, some 150 angry local Moslems protested outside the police station, saying that relations between the Islamic community and the security forces were now at an all-time low due to their holy site not being respected.
An internal enquiry is to be launched to establish exactly what happened during the incident.

The anger against the irrational and selfish behavior of the muslims grows daily – lets hope they (the muslims) grow up before all explodes.

pleased to hear the spanish police are not intimidated by the muslim faith , by entering a mosque , to arrest 2 suspects….why shouldnt they??
The mosque isnt as important as the church , wich is a sacred place of worship , ….this would not happen to our churches , because the people that worship in church , are not terrorists or extremists
You would have thought that with Spain’s history,it would be amongst the last countries on the planet to “welcome” muslim immigration.

The perfect example of how they gain control…start a riot outside the police station and threaten the occupants.
If I were the police I would call on the local fire department to come down and launch their hoses on the crowd to dowse the flames of Islamism.
This is actually what the Muslims themselves have said, but it’s not right. There’s no sanctuary in a church if you have been caught red-handed in a crime. This guy was not only a suspect in anti-terrorism process, BUT did not stopped when ordered to, something which can be construed as “disobedience to authority”.

Why the heck would they have the mosque under a cathedral that’s wack. Next thing I know there will be bacha bazi and bishops joining in.
As far as I can make out, the police were chasing someone who ran into a mosque. There were no services going nor were there any reasons not to enter a mosque in pursuit of a suspect.
Police will enter a church, a synagogue, a temple or any other place that they need to enter to deal with a crime. Sanctuary in a church has not been available for several hundred years.
If you interfere with the police in their lawful pursuit of a suspect then, certainly in the UK, a crime for which you can go to court. I assume that this is the same in Spain. Muslims are not exempt purely because of their religion.
Whatever happens I hope that the policemen involved, who did no more than their duty, are not punished but praised.
(1) Don’t celebrate yet. We don’t know yet if the Spanish government will try to placate the Muslims and issue orders to the police never to do that again.
(2) The Israelis did allow Muslim terrorists to take refuge…in a church (in Bethlehem). The Muslims showed their gratitude by vandalizing the church. Then again, there’s a double standard which forces Israel to be twice as respectful, while getting twice the criticism.
(3) Muslims do allow Jews and Christians to take refuge in synagogues and churches, respectively. Of course, they then burn down those same synagogues and churches with the Jews and Christians still inside, but now I’m just nitpicking.
It does rather look as if the mosque is nestling up to the Cathedral for protection. It is good to see so many comments aware of the parasitic spread of Islam – the more that are against Islam – perhaps will bring our Governments to the realisation that we are being subjected on a daily basis to this creeping cancer in our societies – that will be hard to remove if we do not act NOW.
