SPEAKER Lyn Breuer has apologised to a Muslim woman who left Question Time in tears today after a question about whether burqas should be banned in state Parliament.
A ROW over the Islamic burqa has forced a parliamentary ruling on the religious headwear and caused a Muslim woman to flee the House in tears.

Multicultural Affairs Minister Grace Portolesi told AdelaideNow she saw the young woman outside the chamber.
WTF does Australia need a “multicultural affairs minister” who is a complete and utter moonbat?
She was “hysterical” and “in tears”, Ms Portolesi said.
“This is what happens when people behave insensitively,” Ms Portolesi told AdelaideNow.
“This is why I have been talking for a number of months about better informing and educating our community around the question of religious diversity.”
Ms Portolesi said yesterday’s incident was a first hand taste of experience of what happened when people behaved insensitively.
Ms Portolesi said she had apologised to the young woman. “The lesson everyone should learn from today’s incident is that we have a very, very long way to go when it comes to our understanding of people from other cultures,” she said.

If the veiled woman had behaved sensitively and respected our Parliament and its traditions, the issue would not have arisen. Grace Portolesi needs to spend more effort educating muslims about Australian traditions and customs, and helping them to respect them.
Respect for custom is a two way process – someone entering a mosque, for example, might be expected to remove their shoes whether they were muslim or not, so it is not too much to ask that a muslim entering Parliament respect the “remove head-dress” tradition.
How about a little respect from muslims for our traditions and way of life?
Where is the “Christian Guide to Western Australia” ?
Or does the Western Australian Government feel obligated to pander to an ideology that boast’s of it’s commitment to destroy NO Muslim Religious followers eg Jews, Christians,Atheist’s,Buddhists,Hindu’s?
If so why would a conservative State Government pander to members of a “Religion” sworn to the elimination of everything that same conservative political party claims to stand for?
Who in the Western Australian Government has been BOUGHT OFF by one of Australia’s self declared enemies, ie. the” Religion of Peace” ISLAM?
An example of Respect and Tolerance.
I am sure the “Hag in the Bag” who ran from the public gallery in tears would be more than happy to embrace the following in the interests of PEACE and Tolerance.
I am perplexed that so many of my friends are against a mosque being built near Ground Zero. I think it should be the goal of every American to be tolerant. The mosque should be allowed, in an effort to promote TOLERANCE.
That is why I also propose, that two gay nightclubs be opened next door to the mosque there by promoting tolerance within the mosque. We could call the clubs “The Turban Cowboy” and “You Mecca Me So Hot”.
Next door should be a butcher shop that specializes in pork and have an open barbeque with spare ribs as its daily special. Across the street a very daring lingerie store called “Victoria Keeps Nothing Secret”with sexy mannequins in the window modeling the goods.
Next door to the lingerie shop, there would be room for an Adult Toy Shop (Koranal Knowledge?), its name in flashing neon lights, and on the other side a liquor store, maybe call it “Morehammered”?

Where have the people of this fair city gone wrong so as to allow an uncultured woman who dresses in an outdated barbaric custom to be elected and flaunt her evil views openly.
