Willary in Egypt:

Not sniper-fire; its tomatoes and shoes this time.

Members of liberal and Christian political groups blast visiting US secretary of state, accuse Washington of cutting ‘secret deal’ with Egypt’s Muslim Brotherhood.

Coptic leaders have declined to meet with US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, saying that she is recognizing sectarian divisions by meeting with the Muslim Brotherhood and Salafis before requesting to meet with Coptic Christians.

CAIRO—U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton urged Egyptian leaders Sunday to mend a political rift that has widened divisions between newly empowered Islamists and a secular-minded old guard that has long looked to America for support. (More on ‘why can’t we all just get along…)

Egypt’s top general has raised the stakes in the military’s political standoff with the Muslim Brotherhood, saying the armed forces will not allow a “certain group” to dominate the country.

“Egypt will never fall. It belongs to all Egyptians and not to a certain group — the armed forces will not allow it,” Tantawi told reporters after a handover ceremony for the transfer of command of the armed forces’ 2nd Army in the Suez Canal city of Ismailia.

The New York Times writes:

Implausibly, some of the Brotherhood’s secular opponents have even accused the United States of conspiring with the Islamists to push them to power. By nightfall Saturday, hundreds of protesters had gathered outside Mrs. Clinton’s hotel to protest against the claimed conspiracy. Using a transliteration of the Arabic word for the Brotherhood, one sign read: “If you like the Ikhwan [Muslim Brotherhood], take them with you!”

How the Muslim Brotherhood Conned and Conquered (AINA)

The Muslim Brotherhood was assisted by our predictable and stubborn failure to heed actual declarations by Islamists of what they want to do.  The Muslim Brotherhood was not a sheepish junior partner and Johnny-come-lately, as the enemedia and “experts” portrayed it, but the most important player as of the second day of demonstrations, right through the end–and beyond.

Too small? Click here This is a satirical website. None of what you read here has anything to do with Islam, because Islam is a Religion of Peace. Everybody knows that good Muslims never do the things they do, (because Allah does it for them, Quran 8:12) and we know that only our misperceptions, ignorance and stereotyping of Islam makes Muslims chop off heads, kill and rape women and children, bomb subways, buses, nightclubs and fly jets into buildings. If it wasn't for the media and da Jooozzz, we wouldn't even know its happening. We welcome open, honest, thoughtful, and vigorous discussion in the comments threads, so do yourself a favour and don't accuse us of being 'haters' because we are loving, tolerant people. Don't curse us, don't threaten us with death or hellfire, and don't accuse us of being "just like the terrorists" because we don't do to Muslims what they do to us or to themselves. Yes, we know that only idiots oppose Islam and sensible people submit, but  you should know that we are ignorant bigots, hypocrites and Islamophobes, and we prefer to remain that way... But since you are forcing yourselves (and your abhorrent belief-system on us) we will defend ourselves, because we must. Avoid tu quoque and ad hominem attacks. Don't bother with circular reasoning either, we been there, done it.  If you annoy us, you will be banned and your posts summarily deleted. Try to add to the discussion, don't try to sell snake oil, don't try to cover us with Islamic shrouds of kitman and taqiyya, don't bother with da'awa, (we've heard it before) don't spam us with long pieces of cut & paste, write in English, try to tell the truth, (we know that's hard for you because you are all pathological liars) but the truth will set you free, try it! One more thing: don't think you can post here under multiple monikers. You will quickly be disappeared! The same goes for trufers and conspiracy kooks: you get one chance, one time. Blow it out of your ass if you must; put your stupidity on display. But you won't be back, trust me on that. Take a deep breath before you post, try to make some sense, do not just vent, do not make a fool of yourself and if you prove us wrong you can earn 10 Islamic dollars for your piggy bank. Deal?

They’re going to opt for an “Operation Sledgehammer” ala Erdogan’s coup of the military.

They better be ready for the mo bro’s end run.

There is serious trouble in Egypt. Their constitutional court recently disbanded the nation’s parliament in a bid to end the influence Islamists enjoyed there. Yet even as they disbanded it, the Egyptian people elected a member of the Muslim Brotherhood, Mohamed Morsi, for president. Meanwhile, Egypt’s military is supporting the constitutional court’s decision to disband parliament, thus Morsi and the military are estranged to say the least.

A MuBro dictatorship is ‘democratic rule’ for Clinton?

Enter Sec. of State Hillary Clinton, who is siding with Morsi in the contentious situation and is calling on the military to back Morsi instead of the constitutional court. She justifies this by saying she simply wants to guarantee “a full transition to democratic rule” in Egypt.

Her idea of guaranteeing a full transition is to side with the Islamists?

This mess brings to mind the ties between Clinton’s office and the Muslim Brotherhood: focusing attention once more on the fact that the mother of Huma Abedin, Clinton’s Deputy Chief of Staff, serves on the Muslim Sisterhood with the wife of Egypt’s new president. In short, this means the Muslim Brotherhood can relay their wishes and intentions to Clinton and her aides with relative ease.

And while we hope this doesn’t This certainly does translate into influencing Clinton’s office, the fact that she has sided with Islamists instead of Egypt’s constitutional court is quite troublesome.
