A warm-hearted humanitarian gesture. But what are the Australian authorities going to do to make sure that they aren’t importing jihadis and Islamic supremacists among these persecuted Hazaras? Probably nothing. And once Muslim countries are completely homogeneous, with all the Shias and Christians and Jews and Bahais and all other religious minorities safely in non-Muslim countries, who will protect them from the Muslims there who may wish to carry on the jihad in their new countries? And what will the sanctuary nations of the West do as they offer asylum to jihad’s victims and the jihadis, having driven out all the kuffar, focus their attention on those non-Muslim nations?

The UNHCR was informed that Australia was willing to accommodate 2,500 families or 7,000 individuals of the Hazara community, keeping in view attacks on them.
“Yes we have started work on facilitating members of Shia minority and other people prone to sectarian violence for giving them refuge in Australia. The Australian government wants our assistance in this regard,” Maya Ameratunga, deputy representative of United Nations High Commission for Refugees in Pakistan, confirmed to Dawn.
On Saturday, over 100 members of the Shia Hazara community were killed in a bomb attack in Quetta. The dead included 33 registered Afghan refugees, triggering condemnation from the UNHCR that asked authorities to protect the lives of refugees in this hour of sadness….

This strategy is based on the wishful belief that if we bring over “asylum seekers” by plane, they won’t come by boat.
I suspect it will have the opposite effect, promoting ultimately illegal immigration to Australia with the advice and assistance of tens of thousands already here.
And this overlooks a fairly basic question deemed too sensitive for public debate: precisely how well will 7000 more Muslims from this violent and tribal part of the world settle in Australia? How much is it in Australia’s interest to sponsor thousands of villagers from Balochistan?

The Australian Embassy denies the report, saying people Australia takes must be genuine refugees:
Australia on Thursday clarified that it was not introducing any programme to resettle Hazara community out of Pakistan. The Australian High Commission in a statement dismissed a news report titled ‘2,500 Hazara families offered asylum’ published in a national daily on February 21.”While Australia’s offshore Humanitarian Program has been increased in 2012-2013, there are no new arrangements for particular ethnicities or people from a particular part of any country,” the statement added.
The statement stressed that Australia was sympathetic to communities affected by sectarian violence and acts of terrorism…
“Refugees including Afghan Hazaras, wanting to be resettled in Australia must be recognized by UNHCR as meeting the criteria for refugee status,” according to the statement.
But the Embassy’s response – “no new arrangements for particular ethnicities or people from a particular part of any country” – seems to directly contradict what then Immigration Minister Chris Bown said last year in announcing an increase of the refugee intake to 20,000 to help stop the boats:
Key groups that will figure in the 20,000 are Afghans, whether they be in Pakistan, Iran or Indonesia; Iraqi minorities including Assyrians, Chaldeans and Mandaeans in Syria, Jordan, Turkey and Lebanon. Of course Sri Lankan refugees will continue to figure…”
The mixed messages seem the result of the Gillard Government’s changes to the refugee program, made in line with a recommendation it adopted from the Houston committee of “experts”:

Sheik: I get the impression that refugees vote for the government which let them in, whatever it is. So the Libs have just as much reason to continue in a similar fashion, as I am sure they will, There will be no stopping the refugee tide under either government.
The world population of humans is about seven billion, which is about six billion more than our little Earth can sustain without wiping out all other species of animals. Of this seven billion humans, at least five billion live in countries where there are conditions that meet the criterion for genuine refugeeship, that is, where there is a regime where people have a genuine fear for their lives, from Indonesia, China, Sri Lanka, all middle-East and African countries and most South American countries. About half of the populations of these countries face death under their governments and the other half face death if the alternative government gets into power. That adds up to five billion people world wide who can claim to be genuine refugees.
Where can they go? There are only a seven countries where foreign groups are not in fear of their lives, Europe, USA, Japan, Russia, Canada, Australia and New Zealand. Problem is that Japan and Russia are maths savvy, and so, are well aware of the number-of-refugees problem, and have closed their doors. Europe and the USA are closing their doors too. That leaves Canada, Australia and New Zealand to accept those five billion genuine refugees. If Canada takes in half of them, that leaves 2.5, billion refugees for New Zealand and us. Being a caring and sharing person, I’m sure John Key who seems to have inherited the politicians’ disease of maths deficiency, would happily share the load and take in, say, a mere 100 million which would increase NZ’s population to polyglottery of 103 million and neatly solve the Maori problem. Which leaves Australia with a more-manageable number of 2.499 billion “refugees” for us to accommodate.
Since there are about 10 million houses in Australia, that would mean that each house would have to accommodate 250 refugees. Add on four of us Australians, that makes 254 which means about 83 in each of the three bedrooms.
Frankly, we wouldn’t like that, nor would any of our friends, because we are not maths deficient like politicians. Nor would our rellies in Perth or the other four cities readily put out the welcome mat. And an Aboriginal mia mia would be stretching to accommodate three, let alone 83!
So the only solution would seem to be to accommodate them in Canberra, after all it’s their idea. But don’t tell Canberrans that they’ll have to share each bedroom with 8956 more people. The maths of it is, of the 93,000 homes in Canberra, there would probably be 300,000 bedrooms to be divided amongst the 2.499 billion genuine “refugees”.
Now, some of my good mathematician friends argue that my calculations are exaggerated, that the figures are much less, as much as 50%. If they are right, Canberrans will be relieved to know that they will only have to share their bedroom with only 4478 “refugees”.

If all the Christians from Iraq, Syria, Lebanon and Egypt were rescued from the Islamic hell-pits in which they currently reside, and distributed in batches, amongst all the main majority-Christian countries in the world – of which there are quite a few – no one country would be swamped, by any means. (Especially if, at the same time, the number of *Muslims* being accepted into the receiving countries, was cut right back, or stopped altogether, so as to *make room* for those whom Muslims are busy persecuting…).
Imagine if, say, France evicted all of its Muslims, and replaced them with an equivalent number of peaceful, hard-working, willing-to-learn willing-to-intermarry Coptic Christians, along with some (already Francophile) Lebanese Maronite Christians. France would be instantly better off.
The Hindus from Pakistan, Bangladesh, Indonesia and Malaysia would probably fit in quite well into India; but those who are fleeing their Islamised homelands and migrating here seem to assimilate fairly well, as do the Buddhists. (And again, there really aren’t so many of them, to spread around).
