UNITED NATIONS – U.N. Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon is concerned that U.S. bombing in southern Somalia could escalate hostilities and harm civilians who are reported to have been killed in the airstrikes, a spokeswoman said Tuesday.
And Guled Mohammed reports for Al Reuters:
The European Union, which has frequently differed with Washington over Somalia, criticized the U.S. air raid.
“Any incident of this kind is not helpful in the long term,” a spokesman for the European Commission said, adding that only a political solution would bring peace.
Please note: An unnamed ‘spokesman’ for the EU commission sez ‘bombing terrorists is not helpful’- and they print such stupidity unquestioned and unhindered.
Now a muslim has been nominated to succeed John Bolton.

I don’t know what to make of this.
So far not impressed with koffi’s successor.
Yes, let’s have more political solutions-infidels will hand over their nations to Mo’s murderous minions and hope they will have a right to live under sharia. What a nice political solution!
Thanks Gramfan,
It just goes to show that GWB remains clueless about Islam. He probably thinks by giving the job to a Muhammedan he will build ‘bridges’- but the only bridges we need now are draw-bridges….
