US-Paki-Relations: ‘9/11 brought Americans closer to Islam’

* The mind boggles. When you hear this kind of drivel you think ‘oh well, just another Muhammadan f*ckwit, they don’t know any better…’

Then you look closer and you find out it comes from a Walter Russell Mead, “US foreign policy expert and Henry Kissinger Senior Fellow for the US Foreign Policy at the Council on Foreign Relations”– you start wondering what’s going on: Is this guy for real, is he a closet Muslim, is he a straw man for Henry Kissinger’s law firm (yes, that same Henry Kissinger who couldn’t be part of the 9/11 commission because of ‘conflict of interest’) But what is with these guy’s? What are they hoping to gain by selling out to the enemy?

Tell US! We’d really like to know! Because we can’t make any sense of it:

LAHORE: 9/11 has brought Americans closer to Islam, since the Americans started studying Islam after the bloody attacks and realised that Islam was a peaceful religion, said Walter Russell Mead on Saturday. The US foreign policy expert and Henry Kissinger Senior Fellow for the US Foreign Policy at the Council on Foreign Relations was speaking at Jamia Ashrafia on ‘The Influence of Religion on the US Foreign Policy’. Osama was not a true leader of Islam and his acts were against the teachings of Islam, he said. Mead said as far as war on terror was concerned, the American Muslims were not a problem, but a solution, since they could act as a bridge between Islam and West. Answering a question regarding the US support for military regime, he said there was not true democracy in Pakistan and the United States wanted to see Pakistan a truly democratic Muslim state with better socio-economic conditions. Religion was never a controversial issue in the world and religious education was being given everywhere, including the US, Mead said.

    Which part of Islam were Americans studying? The part which calls the USA the “Great Satan &#123”? The part which says “Europe you will pay. Your 9/11 is on its way”? (I could do this all night …)

  2. I’m sure the worthless atheist would say that was only natural. Just like his dye job. I for one had actually fallen for the ‘Three Abrahamic Faiths’ myth- as well as the Israeli’s being the bad guys- before I shook off the Leftist indoctrination of college. And I have Reagan to thank for that.

    I used to believe that the Klan and neo-nazi types were the worst threat. Now I understand they are marginal at best, and that the true myth concerns ‘reconstructionists.’ The type atheist and his ilk go into hysterics about.

    Well, duh! Americans are occasionally curious, PC crap notwithstanding. In this case, I think I may safely assert that many Americans studied Islam to try to understand WHY thousands of people had to die on 9/11!

  4. Whats there to understand in Islam ?. Is there any hidden philosophy of Islam ?. The women wear Hizab or Burka. And men wear those long robes and head gears of Arabia in Arab. If they do this in there part of the world , its OK. Do whatever you want in your homes and families . But please do not spoil others way of life . When in Rome , live like Romans. In West and US live like them . Study what they study. They are largely living in a modern and a scientific way. And these are dynamic and progressively changeably . And there is nothing wrong if one observes a change in their life styles over a period of time. The living-eating-studying-behaving-etc. in West/US is not what it used to be 100-500 or more years ago. They have given so much to society. All your electricity and your modern things are their contributions . And they will continue to do that in future also because that’s in their nature. Unless you Islamic Idiot barbaric Muslims kill them like the one who killed the Golden Goose who lay-ed the Golden eggs . You are then destroying yourself . The Nature will not allow you Muslims to succeed in your mission because your Agenda is against the Nature and its laws of very existence . Life on earth will continue. It will never come to an end. Mind you Muslims , that’s the Faith of True Believers and they are in a very large numbers. You will fail.
