Yala closes 55 schools after killing of principal

* The ‘restive’ missionary bandits are at it again in Thailand’s ‘deep South:

(BangkokPost.com) – Fifty-five schools in Raman district of Yala closed on Thursday after a principal in the district was murdered by suspected insurgents on Wednesday.

The incident caused panic among teachers in the three southernmost provinces.

The 54-year-old director of Baan Mahae school, Weera Muanjan, was shot dead when he was riding a motorcycle to his home.

About 200 teachers joined a meeting on Thursday to demand that authorities increase security measures in the region.

 

Schools in the district were scheduled to open on Monday.

  1. These muslim thugs have been murdering Buddhists in the south of Thailand for several years.
    This is what happens when a muslim majority is formed inside a region of a non-muslim country. See Phillipines, see Kashmir, see etc etc

  2. Thailand has already experienced their own 9/11 in the total number killed. How long are they going to put up with this?
