JEDDAH: The Organization of the Islamic Conference (OIC) has expressed serious concerns about reports that an far right group is holding an anti-Islam conference in the German city of Cologne in September.Â
A spokesman for the OIC’s Islamophobia Observatory in Jeddah said in a statement issued yesterday that the proposed conference was aimed at arousing anti-Muslim sentiments in Europe and that it would pose a threat to inter-communal peace and harmony in society.
The right-wing extremist group Pro Koln is organizing the event on Sept. 19-20, with the aim of issuing a declaration against the purported “Islami-fication” of Europe.
The meeting is expected to be attended by some of the most inflammatory names in European race politics, including Jean-Marie Le Pen of France, Austria’s Heinz-Christian Strache, and Belgium’s Filip Dewinter.
The organizers of the conference are motivated by racial hatred and xenophobia, said the OIC spokesman.
“The OIC hopes that all segments of society in Germany and other parts of Europe will come out strongly against the holding of such a conference, and reject the proponents of hatred and racism,” he said in the statement.

We haven’t heard about this event, but if it is on we shall be giving our support. The arabs cry like little spoilt children when they are confronted with their bad deeds.

I think much more of this should be going on:
I was told once that I am not responsible for how people feel.
It took me a long time to get my head around it but it’s true. Providing I am behaving in a reasonable manner and not getting in someones’ face and screaming abuse at them – how am I to be expected to know or anticipate how a total stranger is feeling.
Islamists have a vested interest in perceiving slights and insults everywhere, even if there is no real basis for it. In fact they are the ones who are insulting and provoking US.
They like the rights and privilages (especially housing and welfare grrr) that they expect us to provide and in return they whine and demand and insult, offend and provoke us and expect to get away with it.
Time to push back (the mosques are a good start). They need to understand that they are responsible for THEIR behaviour and that we will not accept them projecting their unreasonable behaviour onto us. They need to deal with us as we are. In Britain we are not naturally PC at all. We have a weird, quirky sense of humour and take the p*ss out of everything and everyone, including ourselves. We are robust and so they had better grow a pretty thick skin. They also need to understand that we are curious by nature and question everything including religion. If they object to that – tough. We need to neuter their fanaticism with humour and dismiss them. If they don’t like that then they are free to leave, there is only so much cr*p we can take. 7/7 anniversary has come and gone again, it was an unforgiveable betrayal, I don’t want to deal with them anymore.
