From the “truth is no defense” department:
Thanks to Thundra Tabloids
Bizarre. A European state plunges itself even further into the abyss. Let it be said, that the integration of people belonging to the pseudo religion called Islam, into western culture and society, in which their belief system remains of a personal, not political nature, is the chief goal.    Â
But what is one to make of feckless European politicians who shower Muslim groups, while though being non-violent, embody the same principles that can be found inHizb ut-Tahrir, or the Muslim Brotherhood?
The Tundra Tabloids’ colleague ESW, reporting from Austria, delivers yet another example of the upside down, inside out approach to Islam in Europe by our meathead politicians. Have a vomit bucket ready. KGS
Muslim Austrian Inititive receives Democracy Prize worth € 15,000.
Margarethe-Lupac-Prize for Parliamentarism and Democracy.
This year the prize for democracy, awarded biannually, was given to the Muslim Austrian Initiative, which announced that:
“We are striving for a positive social change in which social values should be anchored in greater general awareness. We (see it as our duty to) promote the social participation of Muslim citizens in the sense of general well-being in that we are open to various initiatives and directions. In this project both men and women who have adopted Islam, as well as migrants who were born as Muslims and have found a second home in Austria work together in a democratic way. We are witnessing the coming together with friends from other cultures and religions or beliefs as a very positive experience. With the help of our different professional backgrounds we can competently respond to specific issues. We are familiar with Austrian cultural structures and insiders in matters of Islam and its cultural manifestations. This gives us a (special) role as a mediator between religions and cultures which we would very much like to realize.”
These words are outrageous. That the award was given to a prominent Muslim group including the well-known Omar Al-Rawi and Carla Amina Baghajati, among others, can and must be considered a slap in the face, the ultimate slap, in the face of a democratic society. We all know that Islam and democracy are incompatible (see Fjordman’s treatise on Islam and Democracy for further details). The prize, incidentally, was presented by the (Socialist) president of the Austrian parliament; honorific words were said by Brigitte Beierlein, vice president of the Austrian Constitutional Court (speech here in German:
“Do not talk about Muslims, but with them,” is a key theme of the initiative, which aims to boost social, political and cultural fields and to build bridges.
“Noteworthy are the innovative media work of the organization; projects supporting equality specific to women, but also equality between women and men; the Open Mosque and school projects with dialogue sessions for students, but also for teachers and training sessions for the police force. I am particularly pleased that a new project together with the other recipient of the prize, the European primary school, was launched: a nice sign for the sustainability of Lupac Foundation.
“A significant proportion of migrants are Muslims who come from countries with Islamic tradition. Islamic diversity has been brought to Europe in recent decades and it has also become a sizeable factor in Austria. Meanwhile, three generations of migrants have been living here and thus the “guest status” should be overcome. Immigrants have become an important part of the cultural, social and political life.
“The liberal constitutions in Europe wide open spaces for individual life. Among the essential basics are respect for human dignity, democracy and the rule of law, separation of powers, majority decision and protection of minorities as well as fundamental rights, such as gender equality, freedom of expression, belief and religion, and the protection of private and family life.
Especially the last paragraph should have made the recipients shudder, or, which is more likely, made them jump up and down for joy on the inside. All these liberties mentioned by the vice-president of the constitutional court are precisely those that Islam is not compatible with, that Islam deplores and seeks to get rid of every single day, in every single non-Muslim country.
On another note, there is news about Susanne Winter, the infamous local FPÖ politician, now a member of parliament, who in January 2008 declared that:
“In today’s system” the Prophet Muhammad would be considered a “child molester,” apparently referring to his marriage to a six-year-old child. She also said that it is time for Islam to be “thrown back where it came from, behind the Mediterranean.”
She was heavily attacked and denounced for these – true – words. Muslims in Austria were outraged, Muslims outside Austria resorted to the usual reaction: death threats. Her own political party deserted her.
Winter was quickly indicted on charges of incitement and degradation of religious symbols and religious agitation, an offense which carries a maximum sentence of two years. In the meantime she has won a seat in parliament. Still, no official reaction from her party.
Yesterday, Winter’s parliamentary immunity was lifted a unanimous vote in the immunity committee of the Austrian parliament, meaning that members of FPÖ also voted for Winter’s immunity to be lifted. She will now be prosecuted for anti-Islam remarks she made during a provincial election campaign in January.
Winter said that she would welcome the lifting of her immunity since only court proceedings would enable her to clear her name. She called the imposition of charges against her an exercise in “political hatred by crazy, self-proclaimed thought-police.” It could not be, she added, that a person could be tried for expression of opinion in a democracy. There could be no political persecution in a country where the rule of law prevailed, she said, since such persecution could occur only in a “dictatorship of conscience.”
Why would FPÖ vote in favor of lifting Winter’s immunity, and thus against a party member, I asked an FPÖ parliamentary employee. “Because it is considered a custom in (Austrian) parliamentarism.” However, there are underlying reasons for this decision, it was insinuated.
I proceeded to explain to this young man the significance of a potential sentence: If Winter is convicted on charges of blasphemy and degradation of a religious symbols, it would mean the complete loss of freedom of speech in Austria and another victory in the international jihad against free speech currently aggressively waged by Muslims (seeRobert Spencer’s latest book Stealth Jihad for more). Winter’s conviction would also mean that I or other counterjihadists would face charges similar to Winter’s and it would set a terrible legal precedent.
This must not happen under any circumstance, which is why I am currently urging the FPÖ to carefully prepare arguments for Winter’s trial. This could even help FPÖ gain acceptance if one battle against legal jihad is won here in Austria. Currently, no one in FPÖ is aware of the significance of the trial’s outcome. Be assured that members of the Austrian counterjihad are working hard to convince the FPÖ of this significance. Our very freedom depends on Winter not losing. If she loses, we are all lost.
Austrian pol who spoke negatively of Muhammad loses Parliamentary immunity
“The Prophet wrote the (marriage contract) with ‘Aisha while she was six years old and consummated his marriage with her while she was nine years old and she remained with him for nine years (i.e. till his death).” –Â Sahih Bukhari, volume 7, book 62, number 88
More Eurabian madness: an Austrian politician who made an accurate statement about Muhammad’s marriage to Aisha, as shown by the hadith above, is facing prosecution for it. When someone can get put on trial for telling the truth, the society has already tipped over into totalitarian thought control, and the totalitarian fascists in question are the European EU elites.
Winter “welcomes the lifting of immunity”
The Immunity Committee of the National Assembly is expected to decide today on the handing over of the MPs Susanne Winter (FPÖ) and Peter Westenthaler (BZÖ) to the judiciary.
The Immunity Committee of the National Council will decide Tuesday whether immunity will be lifted from two parliamentary members, the FPÖ representative Susanne Winter, and former BZÖ leader Peter Westenthaler. It is expected that the committee will decide to hand them over to the judiciary.
Winter is to be sued over Islamophobic statements and because of citing hatred and vilifying religious teachings. She had said at an election event in Graz that the Islamic prophet Muhammad would be by today’s standards a child abuser, because he married a six year old.
Winter speaks of “political hatred”
The FPÖ representative said on Tuesday that she would welcome the lifting of immunity. “Only through the considerations of an independent court a clarification can be obtained on the issue,” Winter said in a broadcast. After all, their cause is clearly based on “political hatred by confused, self-proclaimed thought-guards.”
