DEFENDING THE ISLAMIC HOAX IN THE U.N.
                                                               Â
Bill Maher and Rosie O’Donnell were dealt a severe blow when a United Nations committee voted 85-50 in favor of a Combating Defamation of Religion resolution. Ted Turner must have shaken his head in wonder. He might as well have invested his life’s savings in the Kiwanis or the Knights of Columbus. There were 42 abstentions. Thanks a lot, fellows!
Â
Bill Maher must have been appalled. “We are a nation that is unenlightened because of religion,” he said during one of his frequent and more publicized excursions into the thinking man’s world of Plato and Aristotle and Socrates and Thomas Aquinas. “I do believe that. I think religion stops people from thinking. I think it justifies crazies. I think flying planes into a building was a faith-based initiative. I think religion is a neurological disorder.” That was easy for Maher to say; he is not on al-Qaeda’s list.
Â
Thomas Jefferson is one on Maher’s heroes. “If Thomas Jefferson knew we were blurring the lines this much between church and state,” said Maher, “he would turn over in his slave.” Always the punster! Jefferson was a Deist and the chances are he spent more time thinking about religion than Maher has spent thinking about, well, about anything—period! Abe Lincoln spent more time thinking about religion than Maher. The list is endless. Maher doth exalt himself too much—an occupational hazard perhaps.
Â
Americans have more in common with the Turks and the Iranians and the Syrians than they have with the Europeans and the Canadians insists Maher. Americans believe in Heaven and the Devil, and when the season is ripe in Oz and the Frankenstein monster. If Maher doesn’t get a grip on himself, one of these days he’s going to be caught sneaking into Jerry Falwell’s tomb with a wooden stake and a mallet.
Â
It’s incredible that a man of Maher’s stature has failed to discern the difference between Christianity and Islam—and there is a difference. During the Protestant Reformation Christianity embraced Capitalism. Yes, Capitalism! It was a slow process but it’s now the 21st Century and it is a difficult task to separate a Christian’s love for God from his love for money.
Â
It is the atheist, particularly the Marxist-Leninist atheist that most clearly resembles the Qur’an spouting, dhimmi-hating Imam with his grim determination to drag America into a Brave New World of political correctness, cultural diversity, censorship, reeducation camps and two-minutes hate. It isn’t Pat Robertson or Rick Warren or the Promise Keepers who are shutting down debate on college campuses across America. It’s the American Civil Liberties Union and Rosie O’Donnell; Planned Parenthood and the Council on American-Islamic Relations; Nancy Pelosi and the resident Sturmbahnfuhrers at Columbia and DePaul and Berkeley. There is nothing a Purpose Driven individual enjoys more than religious debate and it is religious debate of any kind, shape and form that the sponsors of the Combating Defamation of Religion resolution at the U.N. are determined to eliminate. Lenin had his useful idiots; Islam has its useful dhimmis.
Â
The radical politically correct socialist tribe that holds sway in Europe has all but silenced religious debate on the Continent. It’s not that they haven’t had plenty of help from an influx of Asian immigrants. Woe to those who complain about Islam!
Â
Brigitte Bardot has been convicted five times for “inciting racial hatred.” Five times! Has any member of the Ku Klux Klan been convicted more than once? One of Bardot’s convictions was for commenting on the growing number of mosques in France. (Comments can be as hurtful and as long lasting as exploding backpacks on crowded buses)  In 2003, Bardot wrote A Scream in the Silence, a critique of Islam and the coming Islamicization of France, the uncontrolled infiltration of the land of Louis XIV and Napoleon by a culture resistant to French laws and customs, one intent on imposing its will on the country De Gaulle thought he had saved and then gave away.
Â
Hillel Neuer is executive director of UN Watch, a Geneva-based group that keeps an eye on the UN. The resolution said Neuer “underscores the need to combat defamation of religion, and incitement to religious hatred. Islam is frequently and wrongly associated with human rights violations and terrorism.” Neuer was more than a bit skeptical of this phraseology. UN Watch has grown accustomed to these assaults on what little is left of the free world’s will to resist Islam.
Â
But Islam has left a paper trail—the Muslim Holy Scriptures, something that just might associate it with human rights violations and terrorism. Certainly the OIC took the Qur’an into consideration before casting their votes—didn’t they?
Â
Qur’an: 9:29 “Fight those who do not believe until they all surrender, paying the protective tax in submission.”
Qur’an: 8:39 “So fight them until there is no more Fitnah (disbelief, non-Muslims) and all submit to the religion of Allah alone (in the whole world).
There’s more—about cutting off heads and dividing up the women and children. But why give Islam a bad name? They do well enough themselves.
The same moral imperative that sent Shane calling on Wilson at Grafton’s Saloon sent Neville Chamberlain to Munich with an umbrella in one hand and a copy ofRebecca on Sunnybrook Farm in the other. Who can say who was right?
Â
If Islam is the one and only true religion and is so vastly superior to all others why would it need the protection of a UN resolution? Certainly by now almost everyone has heard of Mohammed. The strength of Islam’s message should be so obvious that even doubters like Bill Maher should be willing—if grudgingly—to accept its superiority to Maher’s Hefnerism
Â
It’s time to take stock. What does Islam provide that no other religion provides? One God? No, there are a lot of one-God religions.
Â
Paradise? No, the Vikings had Valhalla and Jim Jones had a temple and tubs full of Cool-Aid.
Â
How about 72 virgins? Hah! The Vikings has valkyries and Hell is full of lewd women—a lot more than 72. And Hugh Heffner has The Girls Next Door.
How about silly rules? There is a lot of competition in that field. Calvin and Hobbes had G.R.O.S.S.—Get Rid Of Slimy GirlS.
Â
Slavery? Half the Muslims population is held in slavery but it’s been done before. The antebellum South had slavery but it’s nothing to brag about in the 21stCentury.
Â
Filial piety is a good one but it’s not unique. Nobody loved or honored their dad more than Opie Taylor loved and honored Sheriff Andy and Opie couldn’t tell a sura from a Station of the Cross.
Â
One could go on and on but it would be a waste of time because Islam is a hoax. It doesn’t offer a God-seeker anything that isn’t offered by some other religion and a lot less than some and if a potential proselyte has a taste for October Fests in March and July as well as in October than Islam is a religion to stay clear of. Being a Muslim is like saying, “We’re number one,” without ever having been in a World Series game. .
Â
Christians see Christ’s face in unusual places—in rocks, in rutabagas, in glaciers, in ceiling tiles, in shadows falling across a jail cell or a door to a homeless shelter. Muslims never see Mohammed’s face—don’t want to, grow incensed when they do. Maybe it’s because the Prophet does have a bomb in his hat and always has had—it’s one hell of a legacy.
Â
It is number ONE in all things evil.
They’ll say Allah is just testing the commitment of Muslims to reward the only those make Islam superior. Another words Allah is a wuss and cannot do it himself.
Notice that God / Jesus Christ doesn’t use the UN to stop blasphemy against Him, or to
spread the Gospel. By the time this is over, there won’t be a UN, an EU, an OIC etc…
