Two men were jailed today for the 2007 rape of a 19-year-old woman in the backstreets behind Wellington’s main nightclub and bar area.

Chala Sani Abdula, 27, was found guilty by a jury in Wellington District Court of rape and jailed for seven years.

Ahmed Ahmed, 35, was found guilty of unlawful sexual connection and being a partner to rape. He was sentenced to four years’ imprisonment.

The sentences were delivered to a near-full public gallery, with friends of the accused and of the victim in attendance.


Muslim immigration into the UK has left a trail of rape victims, but  
as long as the political elite place a higher value on multiculturalism,
Britain’s women will just have to keep taking one for the team!.

Al-Qaradawi has been praised by establishment dhimmi Islamic scholar John Esposito as a champion of a “reformist interpretation of Islam and its relationship to democracy, pluralism and human rights.” He counts among his friends Ken Livingstone, former mayor of London. And he wants to kill Jews in the worst way.

Here he also reveals himself to be a Misunderstander of Islam, since he invokes Qur’an 8:60 as if it were relevant to the modern world, when any Islamic apologist in the West will tell you that only greasy Islamophobes think that that verse has anything to do with anything beyond the lifetime of Muhammad. I trust that Honest Ibe Hooper of CAIR, as soon as he has completed his mission in Pakistan, will be winging his way to Qatar to explain to Qaradawi how to read the Qur’an in context.

CHICAGO — In a bid to get more Muslim Americans working in the Obama administration, a book with resumes of 45 of the nation’s most qualified — Ivy League grads, Fortune 500 executives and public servants, all carefully vetted — has been submitted to the White House.

The effort, driven by community leaders and others, including U.S. Rep. Keith Ellison, D-Minn., was bumped up two weeks because White House officials heard about the venture, said J. Saleh Williams, program coordinator for the Congressional Muslim Staffers Association, who sifted through more than 300 names.

“It was mostly under the radar,” Williams said. “We thought it would put (the president) in a precarious position. We didn’t know how closely he wanted to appear to be working with the Muslim American community.”

* Keith Ellison, the first Muslim member of Congress:   “He’s done a lot, and I believe he will do more,” Ellison said, adding that “I identify with the impatience. I want to see things happen faster.”

"C" like Carland and "Con" like Conroy

Yesterday’s laughable, ridiculous ABC -Q & A talkfest showed KRudds minister for censorship, Stephen Con-roy,  giggling like a schoolboy. No one was satisfied with Conroy dodging the questions, and his repeatedly mentioned nonsense about the “Russian mob” was met with laughter. From the  ABC transcript:  “I don’t actually know what’s on the list but I’m told by (indistinct) at ACMA it appears to be closer to the actual, legitimate list.”  But that is the intention behind this drive for internet censorship: Big Brother ueber alles. Be worried, be very, very worried.

  “Many, many Muslim friends” he has, this Conroy, and Waleed Aly’s tilt, the hijabbed ‘Sociologist’ Susan Carland, denied that the Taliban practice the “real Islam”- while using the forum to bash Israel, the same old dissonant howler for every far left ABC-tard to sing along to, especially the sputtering Louise Adler who raved about “occupation”. Andrew Bolt was quickly sidelined when he mentioned the fake stories about Israeli’s bombing schools, shooting up ambulances etc. and is left wondering why we collectively engage in denial that jihad is the real Islam and that some infidel politicians like Conroy know their Islam better than practicing Muslims. Louise Adler couldn’t be more wrong…

GENEVA (AP) — The U.N.’s top human-rights body approved a proposal backed by Muslims nations Thursday urging the passage of laws around the world protecting religion from criticism.
The proposal by Pakistan had drawn strong criticism from free-speech campaigners and liberal democracies.

This isn’t really about criticizing religion. It’s about criticizing Islam.
Muslim nations have argued that religions, in particular Islam, must be shielded from criticism in the media and other areas of public life. They cited cartoons depicting the Prophet Muhammad as an example of unacceptable free speech.

“Islam is frequently and wrongly associated with human rights violations and terrorism,” the resolution said.
Not all Muslims are terrorists, but all (or nearly all) terrorists are Muslims.

“Headscarf Butt” in trouble again…

A DENTIST from Greater Manchester who refused to treat a Muslim patient unless she wore a headscarf drove a car at a policewoman after a parking row, a court has heard.

Omer Butt, 32, hit the officer on the knee following a dispute near his surgery in Bury.

Pc April Stevenson told Bury magistrates that Butt “looked straight at me” and drove towards her despite her shouting at him to stop.

Butt, of Sheepfoot Lane, Prestwich, was reprimanded for serious professional misconduct by the General Dental Council in 2007 over the incident with the Muslim patient.

He denies assaulting the police officer in Parr Lane, Unsworth, on October 21 last year.

His brother, Hassan Butt, 28, was charged with a racially aggravated public order offence in connection with the parking row.

Hassan Butt achieved notoriety when he claimed to have recruited hundreds of British Muslims to fight alongside the Taliban in Afghanistan in the wake of September 11.

He is said to have since renounced his views on terrorism.

Magistrates were told that he could not attend the hearing because he had contracted typhoid in Pakistan and was not well enough to travel.

His case will be dealt with separately at a later date.

IRAN’s former president, Mohammad Khatami, has rejected claims that the Islamic republic is secretly developing nuclear weapons.

Speaking in Melbourne yesterday, Dr Khatami said neighbouring countries with atomic arsenal pose a far greater threat to Middle East stability.

“If there is a real concern about proliferation, we have to tackle the problem of these countries right now having nuclear arms in the region, not putting pressure on a country that doesn’t have such intention and there is no strategy of having nuclear weapons,” he said.

Dr Khatami did not name countries, however Israel is the only Middle Eastern country said to posses nuclear weapons — a program Tel Aviv has never officially acknowledged.

Iran’s South Asian neighbour, Pakistan, has also developed a nuclear program.

In an interview with The Age, Dr Khatami also dismissed as “baseless” claims that Iran is a supporter of terrorism.

After sputtering and coughing for many years, the War On Terror appears to be finally over. It was always a silly thing, a war on a tactic of the enemy rather than on the enemy as such, but as we all know, the Global Jihad is The Enemy Who Cannot Be Named.

And so now we are engaged in a great “Overseas Contingency Operation”, testing whether that nation or any nation so conceived and so dedicated can long endure. And be assured: if the Overseas Contingency Operatives succeed in pulling off another Contingency Operation on American soil on the scale of 9/11, or more than one, we will indeed be sorely tested — and utterly unprepared to meet the multifaceted cultural, military, political, and spiritual challenge the enemy presents.

Such a resolution, the statement said, “may be used in certain countries to silence and intimidate human rights activists, religious dissenters and other independent voices,” and to restrict freedom of religion and of speech.
