“This center will reflect not only the best of Islam, but the enduring hope that Christians, Jews and Muslims can together find common ground,” said the Rev. Peg Chemberlin, president of the NCC.

Reciprocity is the opposite of Islamization.

In 1995, the Saudis and others, with the Vatican’s support, opened a large, beautiful mosque in Rome. The expectation was that the Saudis would loosen their restrictions on Christian practice. Despite some one million immigrant Christian workers there, the Saudis have done nothing.

Frustrated by the repeated failure of Islamic leaders to match promises with practice, Pope Benedict added to the Vatican’s strategy of accommodation a one-word policy, which the tolerance advocates here should adopt: “reciprocity.”

The idea: There will be support for fewer new mosques in the West until the home countries stop hammering non-Islamic religions. Until they reciprocate good will with good will.

    Christians will have to decide between Jesus Christ the Son of God, and allah with its false prophet. There is no ‘common ground’ between

    Paladino and other supporters of a War Memorial district in lower Manhattan propose including the entire area where the dust cloud containing human remains spread from the World Trade Center site. The developers of the Ground Zero Mosque are not moderate Muslims, but backers of the violent Hamas and Muslim Brotherhood sects. The developers blame America for the attacks on September 11th and subscribe to the bloodthirsty tenets of Sharia Law.

    Carl Paladino, a successful Western New York real estate developer and attorney, is a Republican candidate for Governor of New York. He and Tom Ognibene, candidate for Lieutenant Governor, petitioned their way into the Republican Primary in July and canvassed to create a Tea Party-inspired line called the Taxpayers Party.

    Do Muslims actually ‘work’? They ‘toil’ in Italian fields? Surely the comment is a mistake! Do they cease their toil to submit to Allah throughout the day? Are they provided with ablution facilities to perform hoodoo – oops, sorry – I mean ‘wudu’ prior to submitting?
