On Monday Hussein Obama told reporters in Chile that Gaddafi needs to go. But, that was yesterday.

Today Brother Obama told reporters that Gaddafi can stay.
Politico 44 reported:

President Obama indicated on Tuesday that Muammar Qadhafi may still have an opportunity to “change his approach” and put in place “significant reforms” in the Libyan government.

It’s settled then. Gaddafi can stay… Until tomorrow’s press conference.

Obama provides  2.5 million dollars in economic aid to Libya, including 400,000 dollars for Muammar al-Qaddafi’s foundations.

Of the 400,000 dollars, half will go to a foundation run by the leader’s son, Saif, and the other half to one run by his daughter, Aisha. “Just weeks after the Qaddafi family celebrated the return of a terrorist responsible for the murders of 189 Americans, the U.S. taxpayer should not be asked to reward them with 400,000 dollars,” he wrote. How could removing Gaddafi, who is undeniably a tyrant and fanatically anti-American, not be in America’s interests? The simple answer is that it is unlikely that he will be succeeded by Thomas Jefferson or John Adams. The fact that Gaddafi is a reprehensible human being and no friend of the U.S. does not automatically turn his opponents into Thomas Paine.

GAZA (Reuters) – Several armed men entered Reuters’ office in Gaza on Saturday, threatened employees with guns and took away a video camera, apparently after they spotted a reporter filming a demonstration from the building. The men struck one Reuters journalist on the arm with a metal bar and threatened to throw another out of the window of the high-rise block. The group, which numbered about 10 men, smashed a television set and other equipment before leaving.

The same group, several of whom were carrying pistols, also forcibly entered the nearby offices of U.S. broadcaster CNN and the Japanese station NHK. They seized videotape at NHK.

The men told Reuters journalists that they came from the internal security services of Hamas, the Islamist group which governs the Palestinian enclave, but they showed no documents. (More)

The United States and NATO are concerned that reactions could be intense to the publication of images documenting killings committed by US soldiers in Afghanistan. The images appeared in the most recent edition of SPIEGEL, which hit the newsstands on Monday.

You see, the SPEGEL swine know that “reactions could be intense”- in other words, publishing this will get US soldiers (or other infidels) killed. These are the same cowards who would never print the Mohammed cartoons, but when it comes to damaging American interests they are  quite immune to ‘intense reactions’.

It’s ironic that Obama has turned against Gaddafi, since Gaddafi has regarded him warmly, saying in April 2010: “Barakeh Obama is friend…He is of Muslim descent, his policy should be supported.” As meticulously documented in my book, The Post-American Presidency: The Obama Administration’s War on America, the ties between Gaddafi and Obama are close and extensive. Back in July 2008, Gaddafi endorsed Obama, going so far as to say: “All the people in the Arab and Islamic world and in Africa applauded this man. They welcomed him and prayed for him and for his success, and they may have even been involved in legitimate contribution campaigns to enable him to win the American presidency.”

And Obama’s spirtual svengali and former Nation of Islam adherent Jeremiah Wright went to Libya with Jew-hater Louis Farrakhan to see Gaddafi, as he recalled during the 2008 campaign: “When [Obama’s] enemies find out that in 1984 I went to Tripoli to visit [Gaddafi] with Farrakhan, a lot of his Jewish support will dry up quicker than a snowball in hell.”

Oklahoma tries again to outlaw Sharia

70% of Oklahomans voted to ban Sharia last November, but an ignorant Leftist judge*, Vicki Miles-LaGrange, bought Hamas-linked CAIR’s deceptive line that Sharia was just private religious law, and ruled against the will of the people. The obvious problem with her ruling is that no one cares if Muslims choose to practice Islam; the only difficulty arises when they infringe upon the rights of others in that practice. The political and supremacist elements of Islam that contradict the U.S. Constitution were the point of the Oklahoma law, not Islamic laws regarding prayers or ablutions or the Ramadan fast and the like.

(*To be sure, Vicky MilesLaGrange is a Clinton appointed activist commie hack. But there is also “that black thing”, which makes Islam part of the black ‘brother& sisterhood’.  I wouldn’t simply call her ignorant. She might be more sympathetic to Islam than it appears.)

The new law is more pointed and doesn’t mention Sharia, but accomplishes the purpose.

SECTION 1 (C) Any court, arbitration, tribunal, or administrative agency ruling or decision shall violate the public policy of this state and be void and unenforceable if the court, arbitration, tribunal, or administrative agency bases its rulings or decisions in the matter at issue in whole or in part on any law, rule, legal code or system that would not grant the parties affected by the ruling or decision the same fundamental liberties, rights, and privileges granted under the United States and Oklahoma Constitutions.
