A match made in heaven. No virgins needed. Keep it greasy, boyz! Â Where shall I send the vaseline?
Stranger things have happened. Must be for the ‘greater good’- or something. With a Marxist Muslim in the white house who surrounded himself with Muslim Brotherhood operatives and commie subversives, (‘progressives’- mind you,) this should not surprise you. The Obamster crew will do as much damage as possible before being kicked out (or imprisoned) in November.
The Chicago chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) issued a press release on June 29 announcing that Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel, President Obama’s former Chief of Staff, has announced an Office of New Americans Advisory Committee that includes the Executive-Director of CAIR-Chicago, Ahmed Rehab.
The committee’s goal is to “generate recommendations, develop strategies, and present an overall vision to promote the City’s economic vitality and ensure global competiveness, by becoming the most immigrant friendly city in the world.”
The Office consists of 50 advisors, divided into four subgroups. Rehab belongs to the subgroup, “Civic engagement, Diversity welcomed and celebrated.”
(You can have any kind of diversity as long as its Islam!)
In 2007, the federal government labeled CAIR an “unindicted co-conspirator” in the largest terrorism financing trial in U.S. history. The Holy Land Foundation was shut down and five of its officials were convicted for covertly funding Hamas. In 2009, a federal judge upheld CAIR’s designation, ruling that “ample evidence” tied the organization to Hamas. Evidence introduced during the trial showed that CAIR was birthed by the Muslim Brotherhood’s American branch. The Brotherhood listed as one of its “working organizations” in a 1994 document.
CAIR is especially influential politically in the state of Illinois. On August 30, 2011, Governor Pat Quinn released the make-up of his new Muslim American Advisory Council. Rehab was one of those chosen, as was Safaa Zarzour, the secretary-general of the Islamic Society of North American, another designated “unindicted co-conspirator” in the Holy Land trial. Internal Muslim Brotherhood documents identify ISNA as one of its fronts. Zarzour also is on the board of CAIR-Chicago.
After RadicalIslam.org’s National Security Analyst Ryan Mauro wrote about Quinn’s new council in FrontPage Magazine, CAIR-Chicago and Rehab attacked him as a “third-rate propagandist,” (and twice managed to misspell his name as “Ray!”) It also called FrontPage Magazine an “echo chamber for bitter, old, extremist conservatives who hate anything that does not look or think like they do.”
Spencer just put it up too:
And so it should come as no surprise that the likes of Rahm Emanuel has appointed him to an advisory committee. “Ahmed Rehab appointed by Mayor Emanuel to Advisory Committee,” from CAIR-Chicago, June 29 (thanks to Diane):
CHICAGO – Today Mayor Emanuel announced the Office of New Americans (ONA) Advisory Committee – a committee of advisors to generate recommendations, develop strategies, and present an overall vision to promote the City’s economic vitality and ensure global competiveness [sic], by becoming the most immigrant friendly city in the world.“Immigrants are a driving force in Chicago’s cultural and economic life and a vital part of our nation’s history and future. Whether in Rogers Park or Little Village, our city’s vitality has been built on the strength of immigrant populations that have come to enjoy new freedoms and access new opportunities,” said Mayor Emanuel. “I have tasked the Office of New Americans Advisory Committee to lay out a roadmap that will ensure Chicago continues to thrive and grow and attracts the world’s leading human capital to compete in the 21st century global economy and beyond.”
The ONA Advisory Committee is formed by 50 individuals who represent Chicago’s business, academia, civic, philanthropic, and community leaders. This Advisory Committee will serve over the next 90 days and is divided into eight subgroups which will focus on economic opportunities, human capital, education, public safety, health, city services, civic engagement and ensuring that Chicago remains a place where diversity is welcomed and celebrated. They will identify immigrant challenges, strategies and potential solutions and will, together with the ONA, present the plan to the Mayor later this summer.
The ONA is collaborating with Civic Consulting Alliance and A.T. Kearney, who are all providing their support on a pro-bono basis, in the development of the plan. A non-profit organization, Civic Consulting Alliance invests $15 – 20 million per year via its own staff and the pro-bono services of its private-sector partners in order to make Chicago more livable, affordable, and globally competitive. Through the Civic Consulting partnership, A.T. Kearney is donating pro-bono resources and extensive expertise.
“A.T. Kearney is proud to continue our long history of supporting the City of Chicago,” said A.T. Kearney partner Kish Khemani. “Making Chicago more immigrant friendly will allow our city to continue to compete successfully in the global marketplace.”…
