Egypt's Brotherhood: Mossad behind Sinai attack

That didn’t take long now, did it?

That’s a Ham-ass for ya:

“Israel is responsible, one way or another”

The leader of Hamas in the Gaza Strip, Ismail Haniya, has accused Israel of “responsibility” for the attack on the Egypt-Gaza border on Sunday that killed 16 Egyptian border guards and injured seven more.

Egypt’s Muslim Brotherhood said on its website that the attack on a police station in Sinai on Sunday in which 16 policemen were killed “can be attributed to Mossad” and was an attempt to thwart Islamist President Mohamed Mursi.

The statement said Mossad, the Israeli intelligence agency, was trying to abort the Egyptian uprising that toppled president Hosni Mubarak last year and that it was “imperative to review clauses” of the agreement between Egypt and Israel.

Egypt branded the Islamist gunmen behind the attack as “infidels” and promised on Monday to launch a crackdown following the massacre that has strained Cairo’s ties with both Israel and Palestinians.

  1. Egypt has an intelligence agency, have they provided proof that the Mossad was behind this attack. It seems odd, that Hamas have been battling the Salafists in Gaza. The Salafists are associated with Al Qaeda, is Al Qaeda becoming the biggest threat to the Muslim Brotherhood in both Egypt and Gaza. If so, they may want to unite with Israel, and fight a common foe. It does not seem like everything is serene in Dar al-Islam, for they can unite with Israel to both fight those who want to deface Islam.
