Harvard Study: No Correlation Between Gun Control and Less Violent Crime

A Harvard Study titled “Would Banning Firearms Reduce Murder and Suicide?” looks at figures for “intentional deaths” throughout continental Europe and juxtaposes them with the U.S. to show that more gun control does not necessarily lead to lower death rates or violent crime.

Obama: Economic Fairness Is America’s Great Unfinished Business

President Barack Obama speaking at the 50 anniversary of MLK’s March on Washington called economic fairness the “great unfinished …  www.breitbart.com
It’s about fairness. And by fairness, he means a highly progressive system where a small percentage of the population known as “the rich” (a group continually being defined down) pays more and more of their income to the Treasury, ostensibly to be redistributed to those who “need it”, with need being defined by Obama and his gangs of central planners.

When the left defines “fairness” as using coercive force to take money from those who have it to give to those who want it, they’re punishing hard work and real value while rewarding those who will vote to keep themselves on the receiving end. They’ve created a system where a sliver of people provide a highly disproportionate share of the benefits and protections of government to the many. The contributions are not equal, and neither are the benefits.

  1. Lets be honest, appropriating other peoples wealth is really about looting, so the government can enlarge their war chest. All the whilst pretending they are really doing it for the “little” people.

Throwing the moochers a few bones here and there to appear as if the government really are redistributing wealth to the little people.

As well as, provide the means, so the public sector princes and princess can live to a high standard to reflect there entitled status as part of the elite.

  2. Karl Marx himself set up this scenario: “Each works according to his abilities, and is rewarded according to his needs.”

So any human with a buy-low and sell-high instinct (i.e: everyone) will also purposely degrade their own abilities, while elevating their needs.

Hence the legions of whiny self-entitled victims we’re inflicted with today.

  3. So, by last reckoning (and I appreciate this is depending what sources one uses), approx 51% of Americans pay net tax after filing a claim. i.e. approx 49% are those who have pay deducted at source but receive something back, or earn under the threshold (that’s actually a lot!!!). 143 Million filed a return in 2008 according to IRS.

So, what if people just refused to pay? Would the US jail 75 Million people – or is this what the FEMA camps are for?
