Man shot in genitals and wrist in Carlton, leaves blood trail to hospital

IN agonising pain from a bullet that severely damaged his genitals, a man stumbled nearly a kilometre through a southern Sydney suburb before he was rushed to hospital yesterday.
The 24-year-old victim later declined to co-operate with police despite sustaining injuries to the wrist and groin in Durham St, Carlton, around 4am yesterday.
Witness Abdul Yaghi heard the gunshots and said he saw a car speed off when he went to the injured man’s aid.
“I saw the guys that shot him taking off. They were in a little black Mazda, two or three of them,” he said. “I heard a big bang and came outside and saw the bloke laying on the floor there. I came out to help him, he’d been shot in the leg and the hand.”
If he wont cooperate with the police then withhold mediacal attention.
