Hamas, Victims of Oppression

(Reuters) – Tens of thousands of Palestinians rallied in Gaza on Sunday to show support for their Islamist Hamas government, which has long been at loggerheads with Israel but is now shunned by Egypt as well.

“Why punish Gaza? Was it because it achieved victory against the Occupier? Why punish Gaza? Was it because it took up the rifle against Israel?” Haniyeh said.

Holocaust Heroine Motivated by Islam?

In a recently released film titled “Noor Inayat Khan: Enemy of the Reich,” the heroine was touted as a devout Muslim, motivated by her Islamic faith to save Jews during the Holocaust. But the truth is that Khan was not a practicing Muslim at all.–It would be inaccurate to conclude that her faith was “Islamic” in any true meaning of the word.
