China tells Muslims to “Let our hair flow and reveal our beautiful faces. Abandon old and outdated customs.”

Fat chance.

Al Jizz wants you to believe the Uighurs have been wronged. They haven’t. In their blood and in their hearts they carry the the poison of  Muhammad,. the obsession that commands them to kill and die for’allah’, to make the world Islamic.

“Ethnic violence” (?)  has wrecked China’s restive Xinjiang region, leading to a tight government clampdown.

As an  (privileged) ethnic minority, Uighurs enjoy affirmative action policies such as relaxed university admission standards and less stringent policies on birth control. But resentment in the region is growing: In one recent incident in July, nearly 100 people were killed in Yarkand County by Uighur separatists headchoppers armed with knives.

Uighur women in Xinjiang Province are prohibited from covering their faces or hair at hospitals, banks, schools, and checkpoints. Women wearing abayas and full-face veils have been stopped by street police and made to watch re-education videos.The provincial government has launched a programme called “Project Beauty” encouraging women not to cover their hair or faces. Billboards in Kashgar bear messages such as “Let our hair flow and reveal our beautiful faces. Abandon old and outdated customs.”
