The imam did not invent that. This is not something that just came out of his mouth. This is basic Islam 101:
In a speech in UAE (United Arab Emirates) on November 9, 2016, Bilal Philips urged Muslim students to acquire knowledge in the path of Allah and as a means to help the rising of the Muslim nation. He portrayed the non-Muslims in the West as secular and greedy equating them to cattle because of their sole interest in worldly life, in accumulating money and in having fun with no spiritual essence. In this regard, Bilal Philips slammed the Ontario sex-education curriculum that was designed by “homosexuals” to promote homosexuality. “Is that where you want your children to be raised?,” he asked.
Bilal Philips will suffer no consequences for his anti-infidel, anti-homo incitement. After all, this is his religion and we all know what happens to those who criticize Islam, don’t we?
For that reason, lets take a look what just happened to a Canadian school principal who postet Islam critical material on Facebook, all factual, nonetheless, but does that even matter?

In what way are videos of that kind “discriminatory” in any way? People seem to have lost the ability to think straight. This is just more of the stigmatization of opinions that those in authority deem to be unacceptable. It is a shame that the principal backed down so abjectly instead of standing up for the freedom of speech and the right to dissent.

Abu Ameenah Bilal Philips, is a Canadian Muslim scholar, who was born as a Christian in Jamaica in 1947 and grew up in Canada, where he accepted Islam in 1972.
He completed a diploma in Arabic and a B.A. from the College of Islamic Disciplines (Usool ad-Deen) at the Islamic University of Madeenah in 1979. At the University of Riyadh, College of Education, he completed a M.A. in Islamic Theology in 1985, and in the department of Islamic Studies at the University of Wales, he completed a Ph.D. in Islamic Theology in 1994. Residing in Doha, Qatar, Bilal Philips is regularly invited to mosques in Canada and abroad to speak about the teachings of Islam.

The following are excerpts from Bilal Philips’ speech:
“That is the goal which we strive, to make all aspects of our lives whether it is our prayers, whether it is the various sacrifices that we make in our lives, our living, how we spend our lives, and our dying, how we leave this life.
“It should be for the sake of Allah, glorious and exalted is He. For the sake of Allah meaning that it is and should be done in a way which is pleasing to Allah. That’s what it means. How we do it? We make sure that whatever we are doing, we’re doing it in a way which is pleasing to Allah. If we do that, then we have turned our life and all these various elements of our lives into worship (‘Ibada عبادة), because that is the basic definition of worship. It is doing what is pleasing to Allah and avoiding what is displeasing to Him.
“So as students, what is pleasing to Allah? Is attaining the certificate, the degree, is that pleasing to Allah? Is that what our goals should be? To get the Shahada? [the word shahada شهادة has several meaning in Arabic including certificate and martyrdom in the path of Allah]. The Bachelor’s? the master’s? the PhD? Is that what the goal is?
“Because if that is what the goal is, then there is no difference between us and the non Muslims who are studying in the universities of the West, Harvard, Yale, Oxford. No difference. Because that’s their goal.
“Why did they make that a goal? Because that’s their ticket to a successful life. If you have the degree, you can now make money and live happily ever after. That’s their way of thinking.
“So if our way is only focused on that degree, then we are no different from them. We have become when Allah described them: [Quran, Chapter: Al-Furqan, Verse: 44] هُمْ إِلَّا كَالْأَنْعَامِ بَلْ هُمْ أَضَلُّ. They are like cattle, in fact they’re even more astray. Like cattle, eating grass, producing milk, having offspring and die. That’s it.
“That’s fine for Western civilization which has built itself on secularism. Secularism replaces religion. It became their religion. The disbelief in God became their religion. So when you have no God then it’s all about this world. Don’t talk about any other world. It’s just about this world. So the one who is successful is the one who successful in this world, who has accumulated as much finance as possible.
“So it’s all about money. That’s what we have become, the slave worshipper of the Dirham and the Dinar.
“When we make that degree our goal. The degree is only a means to a goal. It’s something we can use to achieve a goal. If that goal is pleasing to Allah, then the degree will be pleasing to Allah. If the goal is not pleasing to Allah, then the degree won’t be pleasing to Allah. It’s as simple as that.
“And as students, it is essential for you to decide what it is that you really want to be. Do you want to be a true seeker of knowledge in a way which is pleasing to Allah or do you wish only to please yourself by gaining skills and knowledge which will benefit you in this life?
“That’s what you have to decide, because that decision determines whether you are a true Muslim student or whether you are a fake Muslim student…
“So many of our young people are gaining knowledge, and as soon as you’ve got the knowledge then you’re catching the next plane out of the country and heading to the West. But what’s really happening in the West? Allah knows best.
“Allah destined for me in 2012 to spend one whole year in Canada. I was Imam of one of the biggest mosques in Toronto and as an Imam everybody brought their problems to me. Mostly it was problems for young people. I mean, there are the usual things divorce and all this kind of things out there, but the big consistent problem which is being put in front of me was young people growing up in the Canadian educational system, and what it was doing to them.
“I saw the unthinkable. I came across young Muslims who are openly gay and proud of it. Atheists. In high school. And while I was there they passed a bill, bill 13, which allowed the government schools to teach homosexuality in kindergarten. In kindergarten! You may be wondering how can you teach homosexuality in kindergarten.
“They had the books ready. The homosexuals had already prepared a whole library of books promoting homosexuality. Among the most famous books is my two dads. Tommy has a dad and a mom but Johnny has two dads, and Johnny’s two dads take him everywhere to the park, to the beach, to the playground. Wonderful life with Johnny’s two dads.
“That’s the message. Having two dads is great. I seek refuge in Allah. So imagine, imagine a society where children are being taught homosexuality from kindergarten. By the time they reach grade three and four the teachers are bringing anatomically correct dolls into the classroom. Two male dolls and showing them how.
“What do you think? Where is that society headed? Is that where you want to be? Is that where you want your children to be raised?
“So we need to think realistically. The Muslim nation (Ummah) is awakening. The Muslim nation is rising. It’s coming out of sleep. That is why there is so much effort to destabilize it, to undermine its systems, assassinate its leaders and all these different things, because the Muslim nation is rising.
“And you need to be a part of it. You don’t need to run to America, Canada and the other places, you need to be there, to help our nations grow and come back together again as one Muslim nation, and be a force to reckon with.
“We have all of the necessary components. They are there, not fully developed or whatever, but we have it all. But the Muslim nation is divided and our intelligence is running to the West.
“So I advise you brothers and sisters, to rethink your direction, refocus your intentions, turn your study here in UAE (United Arab Emirates) into worship (عبادة). Make it worship. Make it pleasing to Allah, glorious and exalted be He, and make a difference, make that oath count.”

In September, the York Region District School Board said it was investigating after being notified about anti-Muslim postings on the Facebook page of Ghada Sadaka, a principal at Sir Wilfrid Laurier Public School.
After months of silence, Sadaka’s apology was posted on the school board’s website Thursday, under the weekly message from director J. Philip Parappally.
“As an educator for 26 years, my days are filled with ensuring that the students with whom I am entrusted are given constant opportunities to learn,” Sadaka’s statement said. “In the last two months, I have been the one who has learned a number of lessons about how sharing inappropriate posts on social media has affected those around me, my reputation and the reputation of one of the most diverse school boards in the country.
“I apologize for my actions and accept responsibility for ensuring that I learn from them,” Sadaka wrote.
Sadaka said she “did not intend to be disrespectful towards any group or individual and I sincerely regret the upset this has caused to those who were offended by the posts.
“Upon reflection, I accept that sharing the posts was discriminatory, and should not have occurred. I am committed to improving my understanding of human rights issues, and ensuring that I am more careful, respectful and aware of what I post and share on social media.”

Sadaka didn’t respond to a request for comment Thursday.
In his weekly message Parappally, the school board director, said he appreciated Sadaka’s apology and “believe all of us within the Board can use this as an opportunity to learn and grow.
“As one of the most diverse regions in the country, we have a responsibility to continue the work of equity,” he said.
The statement was issued on the same day Parappally and board chair Anna DeBartolo met Education Minister Mitzie Hunter to discuss allegations of racism and trustee transparency, that the Star has chronicled over the past year.
“As previously disclosed, this was the minister’s first meeting with the chair and director and she used this opportunity to discuss her expectations of Ontario’s publicly funded education system to be one of inclusion and opportunity, a beacon of equity and respect, and a strong example of transparency and efficient use of precious student funding,” said spokesman Patrick Searle.
Parappally’s message on the school board website doesn’t clarify the outcome of the investigation into the principal, or say if the policy for such investigations was followed. Last month, two trustees asked the board to confirm if proper policy was followed during their investigation.
The board has said the investigation was a confidential personnel matter. Previously, board spokesman Licinio Miguelo said: “I can confirm that in any case where such allegations are brought forward all applicable policies and regulations are strictly followed.”
York Region parents said that while they welcome Sadaka’s apology, they still have concerns.
“This is a good first step,” said parent Naeem Siddiqi, after speaking to parents with children who attend Sir Wilfrid Laurier Public School. “But what (Sadaka) needs to do is start a dialogue with parents and children, and take steps to show that she is sincere….
You see, no matter what Ghada Sadaka does, it will never be enough. Not until she either converts to Islam or until she is replaced by a Muslim. That’s the plan. And as long as we allow groveling dolts to pander to Mohammedan mores, we will lose more and more of our future to Islam.
If only the school board had admitted

So we think it was insensitive of this teacher with the muslim surname to hurt their feelings by pointing out islamic evil without offering them condolences and counselling first.
Now that she has realized the errors of her ways and contributed to our de-programming “LEAVE ISLAM!” program and directed them to its cult-deprogramming expert staff, we all feel much safer here in Ontario.”
