- ASIO determined he was actually a member of ISIS and detained him
- He went unnoticed for a year because his name was two letters different
- However, he is fighting detention and deportation on a procedural technicality
- ASIO never actually asked him if he was the the person they claimed he was

ASIO is like any other Australian bureaucracy, filled to the brims with leftist stooges. You get a hit here or there just to keep up the appearances that you are actually doing something, but most of the time they look the other way or it is just too much trouble.
If they were really serious, you would see a lot more people being deported, having their citizenship revoked or more body bags filled with Islamic terrorists.
