Australian Journalist Planned to Lure and Behead Christians…
This milquetoast is our archetypical ABC/SBS journo. Our billion dollar taxpayer funded global warming propaganda channel is stuffed with people like him. But wait for it, there’s more:
“..Mr Waugh was ‘extremely opinionated’ and showing some signs of being delusional and perhaps paranoid..”
Ex-journalist arrested over threats wanted ‘reprisal for Christchurch’
“A former journalist bought a scimitar from Pakistan before trying to lure Christians to his Canberra home and threatening to kill them in reprisal for the Christchurch massacre, a court has heard.”

James Waugh.
Although the “former journalist” James Michael Waugh is described by lay police as “delusional” and “paranoid”, it is too often the case that jihadi motives are hidden behind “mental illness” in cases of attempted or fulfilled jihad attacks. Later, “a psychiatrist joined police at the home and said he had no mental health concerns. Mr Waugh has not been diagnosed with any mental illness.”
The article below makes no case that Waugh–who was arrested at his home in Griffith, Canberra, Australia–was a jihadist, however his modus operandi appears aligned with jihadists. Beheadings are a norm in Islamic doctrine and Waugh was attempting to lure and behead Christians.
Although Sri Lankan Deputy Minister for Defence Ruwan Wijewardene also stated that the church bombings were in “revenge for shootings at two New Zealand mosques on March 15, which killed 50 people”, Wijewardene’s declaration annoyed Deputy Prime Minister Winston Peters, and it should. Jihadists look for any and every excuse to murder infidels in their ‘duty’ to kill and subjugate infidels.
The Christchurch murderer Brentan Terrant was all over the map in describing his political leanings. Although mainstream media painted him as “right wing” he never claimed to be a Trump supporter, he also stated in his manifesto that “the nation with the closest political and social values to my own is the People’s Republic of China,” and that “he could be both right wing and left wing, depending on the definition.” He also called himself an “ecofascist” who promoted “green nationalism” and he actually stated that “he explicitly rejects conservatism, capitalism, individualism and consumerism….. Conservatism is dead, he wrote. Thank God. Now let us bury it and move on to something of worth.”
It serves a socialist and Islamic supremacist agenda to align Terrant with “right-wingers” and “nationalists” and even Christians for that matter of which Terrant was none of the above.
Anyone who understands the mission of the global jihad will do well to understand that jihadists will find any reason, no matter how ludicrous, to justify their jihad murder, aggression and supremacism against infidels. Read Robert Spencer’s book: The History of Jihad From Muhammad to ISIS to learn more.
James Michael Waugh was arrested and denied bail on his mission to lure and behead Christians on fake accusations for the New Zealand, Christchurch massacre.
“Ex-journalist arrested over threats wanted ‘reprisal for Christchurch’”, by Alexandra Back, The Canberra Times (Thanks to The Religion of Peace), April 30, 2019:
Mr Waugh, a former Canberra journalist, was arrested at his home in Griffith, Canberra, on April 2. But police were alerted to his online activities 10 days earlier when a friend of his tipped off the National Security Hotline.
“I have issued threats, along with my name and address, to every coward dog church in Canberra. If you know someone with balls send them along. I’ve bought scimitar and intend to cut their heads off in my front yard as reprisal,” it’s alleged Mr Waugh messaged a group of people.
Police went to the Griffith home that same day and spoke to Mr Waugh. A member of ACT mental health went along and concluded that Mr Waugh was “extremely opinionated” and showing some signs of being delusional and perhaps paranoid.

On March 26, a couple of days later, a psychiatrist joined police at the home and said he had no mental health concerns. Mr Waugh has not been diagnosed with any mental illness.
Police had also found handwritten notes listing various weapons, which Mr Waugh said he intended to buy to prepare for a day of judgment, the prosecutor Ms Khazma said. By broadcasting his address Mr Waugh had prepared to engage in battle and rely on self-defence to make himself a martyr, she said.
Mr Waugh has been charged with possessing an object with the intent to kill or cause grievous bodily harm, using a carriage service in a menacing manner and making threats to kill. He has not entered pleas. He is due back in court in May.
