The trial of Derek Chauvin, the former Minneapolis police officer accused of murdering George Floyd, opened Monday March 29 with prosecutors showing in court the nine-minute, 29-second video of Chauvin kneeling on Floyd’s neck. This will be a show trial and to avoid more riots, it most probably won’t end in favor of the white police officer.
They tried to prohibit French police officers to exercise the same chokehold, that allegedly killed George Floyd, but this was their reaction.

On Monday, Fox News Channel’s Tucker Carlson offered his theory as to why CNN and other media outlets covered all the tedious details of the Derek Chauvin trial, which began earlier in the day.

Carlson speculated CNN wasn’t concerned about George Floyd, Chauvin’s alleged victim, but was instead seeking to hype racial aspects of the trial.
