‘Does capitalist democracy still work?’ Sky News host slams Canadian politician’s college speech
Sky News host Rowan Dean has slammed Canada’s Deputy Prime Minister Chrystia Freeland for asking “does capitalist democracy still work” in her speech during a graduation ceremony at the Northeastern University in Boston.
“In the entire history of civilization there has never been a system of governance that has delivered peace and prosperity on a greater scale than capitalist democracy,” Mr Dean said.
“Which part of capitalist democracy does this woman have a problem with? The capitalist bit or the democratic bit or both?
