No, in actual fact there seems to be a blanket ban. Not one media outlet in the country is running the story. Labor have just removed the oversight function that protects our sovereignty and national security. They can operate without scrutiny and not a single journalist in this country thinks that’s worth reporting on.
The media is a joke. Just look at the front pages – the ABC has endless stories plugging renewables, the SMH is running a story about a woman in a hot apartment (is this the most important issue in Sydney?), in Perth they are writing about high Airbnb rates and in Victoria the Age is talking about fines.
