Hamas has “loyalists” and Gaza is full of them. They aren’t all combatants but their homes are full of Hamas propaganda and they share the same ideology. The west bank has other factions and their level of radicalism varies, but most Palestinian militant groups believe targeting non-combatants is “justified” which is why they are terrorists, and their loyalists are terrorist supporters.

The European Union (EU) condemned the assassination of Iranian nuclear scientist Mohsen Fakhrizadeh in an official statement posted on the EU’s foreign affairs website Saturday, calling for calm and restraint following Iranian statements that retaliation against the perpetrators, allegedly Israel, is coming.

The assassination of Mohsen Fakhrizadeh was reckless, provocative, and illegal. As a new administration takes power, it was clearly intended to undermine U.S.-Iran diplomacy. We must not allow that to happen.
