Free Speech is Not Free

The crackdown against free speech continues. The FBI Tried to Secretly Infiltrate Telegram to Give Themselves “Backdoor Access” to Users Private Data. NATO countries have been aggressively pursuing control over Telegram, one of the last major platforms offering true end-to-end encryption.

France has turned into one of the worldwide threats to free speech

Telegram founder Pavel Durov has been arrested in France.

Now released on bail of $5.56 million.

Western intelligence services want access to Telegram’s private messages. Durov may face 20 years in jail if he doesn’t cooperate.

US politicians applaud Macron like village idiots.

WSJ: France Was Wooing Telegram Boss Pavel Durov at Same Time Was Spying on Him

Durov released, but banned from leaving France.

Telegram messaging boss Pavel Durov was placed under formal investigation on Wednesday, August 28 for all 12 offenses listed in the introductory indictment, including “complicity in managing an online platform to allow illicit transactions by an organized group,” “refusal to communicate, at the request of the authorized authorities, the information or documents required to carry out and operate the interceptions authorized by law,” “complicity in the organized gang distribution of images of minors of a child pornographic nature, drug trafficking, organized gang fraud, criminal conspiracy to commit crimes or misdemeanors” and “laundering of crimes or misdemeanors in an organized gang.”

Durov’s arrest is a trial balloon for how Europe will go after Musk

Pavel Durov, the billionaire co-founder and CEO of messaging app Telegram was arrested at the Bourget airport outside of Paris Saturday evening.

Australian politclowns are very worried about free speech:

A lot of lunatics absolutely hate when you speak your mind.

Russian State Duma Chairman Vyacheslav Volodin says the United States is behind the arrest of Telegram founder Pavel Durov. “The US government wants total control of social media, which is why it orchestrated the arrest of Telegram CEO Pavel Durov.”

An online user called this politician “fat”.

German police opened an investigation.

“The Party told you to reject the evidence of your eyes and ears. It was their final, most essential command.” — George Orwell, “1984”

So now you’ll go to jail if you insult a politician in Germany, not only this one. How would you describe her?
