There will be no making Australia great again under Albo:
Anthony Albanese is moving to cash in on the economic uncertainty created by the election of Donald Trump by telling regional business leaders Australia is both a safe investment option and a secure and trusted trading partner
In a speech to business leaders on the sidelines of the Asia-Pacific Economic Co-operation summit in Peru, the prime minister will emphasise the investment opportunities in green energy and advanced technology he hopes to create through the Future Made in Australia initiative.
He lists the fast-tracking of foreign investment approvals for known investors and the establishment of a “front door” for investors to streamline the process of attracting foreign capital.
“Australia is taking advantage of our natural resources and our position in the fastest growing region of the world to power a new generation of prosperity,” he will say in a speech to be delivered Friday Australian time.
While Albo sells Australia out in Peru, at home the gas cartel is ramping up the gouge.

This will keep pressure on the government to sustain energy rebates and the gap between trimmed mean and headline inflation will keep the RBA angry.
The reason for higher gas prices? Somewhere a butterfly flapped its wings. It could be Gazprom. It could be Trump. It could be anything.
All we know is that the cause is not in Australia other than the gas export cartel bringing it here from anywhere it likes.
This is where the Albo sellout bites.
Instead of pushing free trade in Peru, he should use the MAGA opportunity to force the gas cartel to renegotiate its export contracts to accommodate 15% of those volumes staying in Australia at half current prices.
That would instantly resolve all our energy and inflation problems, as well as those of his government.
But that’s Albo for you; so in thrall to corporate fearmongering that he can’t see his interests, let alone the nation’s.
Let’s be honest Anthony Albanese is hopeless. As I said in the interview, Xi Jinping is playing him for a fool and he’s too busy patting himself on the back for trade deals to see what’s really happening.
