The Senate clerk has ruled Lidia Thorpe eligible to serve in the upper house after the deranged Senator revealed she deliberately twisted the parliamentary oath by swearing allegiance to the Queen’s “hairs” instead of “heirs”.

Senator Lidia Thorpe has been ruled eligible to serve in the Senate after she revealed she had deliberately distorted her parliamentary oath of allegiance.
Ms Thorpe made international headlines for screaming at King Charles III during the royal’s visit to Australia last month.
After facing calls for her resignation for violating the parliamentary oath, the independent Senator revealed she swore allegiance to the Queen’s “hairs” not “heirs”,sparking speculation she was ineligible to serve in the Senate.
