Apparently, Germany has such a thing as “Dignity Law” to protect politicians from, presumably, undignified attacks. Such law should be used very prudently and sparingly in order to maintain a free speech environment where nobody has the right to be not offended. Saying that a German politician is fat should not be criminalized under “Dignity Law”.
These nincompoops in politics seem to live in perfumed clouds. Many of them, like Ricarda Lang & Habeck, regard any criticism as lese majeste. The scariest thing is that judiciary & the cops jump at the chance to serve them. Kadavergehorsam (blind obedience) is part of German psyche.

England, Australia, France, Germany and on and on the censorship rolls. We are really coming to a head about this. Thank God we just elected Trump who I believe really does believe in free speech. I hope he speaks out against this snuffing out of speech that the governments in so many Western civilizations do not like. If we did not have the 1st amendment, they would do the same to us in a heartbeat.
